About this menu
Porthmellin Cafe is a tea house in Helston, serving cooked breakfasts, filled sandwiches and baked potatoes alongside hot drinks. The menu begins with All Day Breakfast and a Breakfast Bap/Sandwich, then moves on to Burgers, Pasties and Omelette before reaching Cream Tea. Sandwiches, Toasted Sandwiches, Baguettes and Baguette Melts follow, with fillings like bacon, brie and cranberry or ham, cheese and chilli jam. Coffee, Hot Chocolate and Cold Drinks round things off.
For a morning meal, there is All Day Breakfast or the bap, while Baked Potatoes with beans and cheese make a plainer order. Families can turn to the Childrens Box, which keeps ordering simple for younger visitors. Anyone stopping for a break could pair Cream Tea with a latte or cappuccino, and Toasted Sandwiches such as stilton and ham or bacon are a warmer choice than cold Sandwiches. Burgers and Pasties cover the fuller mains.
