Skyway Brasserie is a French steakhouse restaurant at 140 Bath Rd in Hayes, set inside a hotel at Heathrow airport. The bar-restaurant is lit by a feature chandelier and serves both breakfast and dinner, which gives hotel guests a meal option without leaving the building. Customer Review Summary
Fish and chips is the dish reviewers name most, and opinions split: one calls it good alongside a decent burger and nice fries, while another found the chips tasting of burnt oil and the fish very bony. The ribeye is close behind, described as tender, flavourful and cooked as requested, though the blue cheese sauce was called bland and fries could not be swapped for the spring onion mash. The Camembert starter and sticky toffee pudding draw praise, while the coffee was called bad. A few were disappointed that a pre-made crust was used for the Margherita pizza and that the advertised steak and lobster was no longer offered. Service divides the reviews. Several describe a friendly, welcoming server who made a date night feel special, and one found the staff friendly at both dinner and breakfast. Others report being ignored at the host station, asking repeatedly for water, and a main arriving dried out and reheated after three requests. That diner was told the meal would be free, then was charged for it.

“Waited at the host station for fifteen minutes and did not receive any assistance from anyone on staff, so then had to wait in the queue at the bar to request to be seated. I received my food relatively quick, but found a hair in my meal and had to ask multiple members of the staff for just a glass of water. The food was fine, but the service was extremely poor and I left very disappointed.”

“The food was good. We liked the fish and chips. The burger was also good. The fries were nice. Nothing outstanding, but not a lots of flaws, except for the coffee. Coffe was bad. The service was very good, the lady that helped us was friendly and professional”

“Dreadful. Ordered the fish and chips and a glass of wine, my wine turned up halfway through the meal so I declined it. The food came out minutes after ordering and I think the chips were reheated from yesterday, awful taste, tasted of burnt oil. Fish was okay but very bony. Pathetic for £23, better off going to McDonald's next door”

“We had both our dinner and breakfast here while we stayed in the hotel! The staff was friendly, the hot food is hot and cold beer is cold. Can’t ask for more!”

“It's clear from other reviews that the quality of food has tanked. Pre-made pizza crusts for a Margherita pizza??? Are we serious?? The appearance of the resteraunt is deceiving, service was great and the waitstaff even apologized and explained that the pizza is often commented on. (So if you do need to eat here, listen carefully to your server for recommendations) Clearly some priority issues with management. Regardless of the quality of other food, if you dont want to make a margherita pizza then JUST DON'T SERVE IT”
