  “Absolutely incredible, ran by a very kind gentleman from Italy (I suspect Roma ☺️). Honestly all staff were insanely kind. Food was one of the best Italian meals I’ve had, you could taste the passion in every bite, amazing!!”

  “Very disappointed, especially after reading all the glowing reviews and seeing the 4.9 rating out of 320 on Google. The place was busy and they kindly fit us in without a reservation, and the owner’s enthusiastic bragging about the food really got our hopes up. Unfortunately, the meal didn’t match the hype. I ordered the Calzone Carne Piccante (he recommended) — it came out burnt on top with barely any filling or flavor (maybe that's why they included the "extra" bland sauce). The other dish, Tagliatelle Venison Ragu, was basically bland pasta with just a few small pieces of meat. To top it off, as we were leaving, I saw the waitstaff carrying two perfectly browned calzones, doesn't mean they tasted any better but sure looked a lot better than mine which made it even more frustrating. The ironic part is the owner proudly told us his dad always said, ‘If you can’t do it right, don’t do it at all.’ AND he also told us they had just won an award the day before! Hmmm, ok. Overall, it ended up being just one of several disappointing meals on our trip.”

  “First time I've ever been to a restaurant with a 4.9 rating. Now I understand why it deserves such a high rating and excellent reviews. Lucy, Flavio, and the rest of the staff, were wonderful, attentive, and professional. The food was very yummy, the drinks quaffable, and the atmosphere very pleasant. Quite busy so we were lucky to be seated, so we'll try to remember to book the next time we visit. A very happy customer.”

  “Myself and my husband visited tonight for a much needed date night, and it couldn't have been more perfect. We sat outside in the sunset, the staff were so warm and welcoming, the atmosphere was relaxed, and the restaurant is absolutely beautiful. The food was incredible, so full of flavour and portions were more than generous, we boxed up and took the rest home. Tiramisu was the best we’ve ever had! Cocktails were so refreshing. We will be back very soon!”

  “"A truly authentic Italian gem! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere at Bella Roma Restaurant & Pizzeria felt like a trip to Italy. The "Calzone", "Steak Tagliata Manzo (medium rare)👍🏻" was the star of the night-perfectly (al dente)🙂 and rich with flavor. Our server, was attentive and had excellent recommendations. Don't skip the Tiramisu; it's easily the best in the city..🫶🏻”

  “I don’t need to go to London or Italy to find exceptional quality Italian food ! Never thought I would say it but this Italian restaurant in Haverfordwest might be even better than some places I have been to in Italy! And the atmosphere there just made me feel like I wasn’t in rainy Wales. The owner seems to be Italian and even though I didn’t speak with him too much, his presence brought so much positive energy. He is clearly very passionate about what he is doing - making sure the quality of his food blows the minds of customers. Kuddos to this guy - definitely knows how to not only give people good food but make it an experience! The food: I had an out‑of‑this‑world experience : - I had the Gnocchi Tartufo & Gorgonzola and my husband had the - Calzone Carne Piccante (my photos are not the best but I had no time to waste sorry). - Our desserts were: a Tiramisu and Espresso Affogato I am fussy about my Tiramisu and apart from preferring pure dark cocoa powder for dusting (I know it might be too strong for some people), it was delicious and the Espresso Affogato was also beautiful! The atmosphere: Rustic, Italian, thoughtful. Real wildflowers on the table. Intelligent interior choices. And the music was gentle, classic Italian songs playing unobtrusively in the background. Business owners often seems to think it’s such a small insignificant detail, but it shows how much they care. So many restaurants ruin the mood with loud or incongruent music. Bella Roma absolutely nailed it. Another well- deserved bravo. I genuinely wasn’t expecting to find a place this good in Haverfordwest - nothing against the area, but my hopes were indeed slightly low and I am so glad to have been proven completely wrong. Stumbling upon this absolute gem was such a pleasant surprise, and I am already planning to come back and work my way through as much of that stunning menu as possible. Having lived in London, I know how abundant great food can be in big cities, and I have often found it challenging to discover restaurants of that calibre in Wales. But every now and then I am reminded that my assumptions need updating, and this might just be the best restaurant I have found here. There is something incredibly satisfying about discovering a spot this exceptional in some more sparsely populated areas - it feels rare, exciting, and genuinely special. Keep up the good work, everyone at Bella Roma! Stella x”

  “We had a fantastic meal here. Food was delicious, pasta portions very generous, and being from out of the area the staff were really helpful and kind in giving us recommendations for things to do locally. Would definitely visit again if we’re ever in the area.”

  “Okay, I need to talk about the carbonara here because,..Wow I’m a carbonara lover and I’ve been hunting for the real original taste for ages And guess what? I finally found it here and all of food on my table was amazing!! The place is cosy the staff are lovely and the whole vibe just made me happy:)) If you love real Italian food especially carbonara you need to try this I’m definitely coming back T”

  “Really enjoyed our family lunch here. Great atmosphere, excellent service. Love the quirky light fittings and retro bathroom taps. Fabio personally greets all guests either as they arrive or shortly after they are seated making you feel welcomed. He helpfully explained the many choices available for the dairy free and gluten free guests in our group and made an excellent starter suggestion - GF , DF, caramelized onion garlic bread, a good sharing starter for 4, leaving us enough room for a main course each and 2 shared desserts. We ate on a Saturday lunchtime and booked about a week in advance. There was some room for drop in customers, but I'm glad we guaranteed our place by booking. Just enough parking for a full house of diners. The interior was clean, tidy and well looked after. Clean and fresh, well maintained, bathrooms. A great place for a family dinner, anniversary meal, date night, or holiday meal. Easy to talk, sensible level of background music. Highly recommended.”
