Customer Review Summary
Pizza draws the most consistent praise, with reviewers repeatedly calling out well-cooked, generously sized pies, alongside pasta dishes like the carbonara, lasagne, and pastas described as full of flavour; a calzone with truffle chips and bruschetta with mozzarella bites also get singled out. Many attribute the enjoyment to individual servers who checked in without hovering and gave menu recommendations, and one describes a children's pizza-party event as a hit thanks to the host and chef. Set against this are real service failures: one diner reports leaving without their food after a lost order and no apology, another describes a rushed New Year's Eve meal with an unadvertised kitchen cutoff and dirty crockery left on the bar, and a takeaway order arrived without requested cheese and with overcooked, dry pasta despite a paid priority delivery fee. A couple of reviewers also note thin floor staffing making it hard to get attention, though staff were said to be trying their best. One visit closes on staff rearranging plans so a family could rush off to an appointment after their meal.

“The staff were nice and friendly, unfortunately they were only 2 staff on floor which made it difficult to get hold of their attention. I ordered GF pizza and it was nice, the staff did work really hard and were trying their best but having 3 attentive staff can improve the service on weekdays. Chef was accommodative and attentive. Thanks”

“My first visit to a Prezzo in a couple of years and it was so nice! Jeremy (the manager) was sooo lovely, so was Evelina - both friendly and available, with gentle check ins but not overbearing! A gentle buzzy atmosphere but still private …”

“Very disappointing experience at Prezzo. The food was poor and overpriced, and the kids’ menu was disgusting. We ordered the fusilli carbonara and it was terrible. The pasta was cold, the sauce was just a watery milky liquid, with a few …”

“First time ordering a takeaway from Prezzo and definitely, the last! I ordered a rigatoni arrabbiata. When I opened the box I noticed there was no cheese despite me selecting it as part of my order. That was the least of my worries after I actually tasted the pasta. The pasta was extremely overcooked and bland. The sauce was non existent , it was as dry as the Sahara desert. Let me also mention I paid an extra £4.99 for priority delivery.”
