“Bit disappointed in our visit today.. staff seemed very grumpy ( except for the older gentleman) Food was very average.. brought chips out 15 minutes before food.. cold and clearly refried. Ploughman’s was uninspired and overpriced for what we had. A pork pie, slice of ham and 2 tiny bits of cheese… a gherkin and salad leaves with a slice of boring bread for £16 , you would have struggled to make a decent sandwich with it except the pie. More chips brought with dinner but again refried and tough. Hadn’t even started my cup of tea when the bill was brought and machine produced. Nice lady on the main till though”

“Had a coffee and cake craving this afternoon so decided to visit Fodder, so glad I did, it was lovely and the choice of cake available was fabulous, something for everyone including vegans and people who are gluten free, Julie was lovely and friendly when she came to take the order, smiling and happy, thoroughly enjoyed my visit! Yorkshire hospitality at its finest!”

“Fodder is exceptional. The deli is incredible and the restaurant serves the same high quality food. Great atmosphere and lovely setting. Very dog friendly too. Service from Julie was amazing. Very friendly and despite a tricky order - nothing was too much trouble. We all commented on what a lovely lady she was. Thank you.”
