  “Cold Bath Deli is a real gem. The coffee and cakes are absolutely delicious, and the relaxed, unhurried European atmosphere makes it feel like you’re on holiday. Sitting so close to the beautiful Valley Gardens only adds to the experience. The food always looks amazing, and you’re always greeted with friendly service and a smile. They’ve made fantastic use of the old fruit and vegetable shop, transforming it into a welcoming space that’s a pleasure to visit. Well worth a visit if you’re in Harrogate!”

  “I’ve visited Cold Bath Deli several times before, and the food and service have always been excellent. However, during my visit today for coffee and a pastry, I had a disappointing experience with one of the waiters. I wanted to order a dessert from the display and was simply trying to point out which one I would like. However, the waiter with blonde hair repeatedly told me that they offer table service. I am already aware of this, as I’ve visited many times before. I was only trying to show him the cake I wanted, but he kept insisting on mentioning the table service and didn’t seem interested in listening to what I was saying. Eventually, another member of staff took my order without any issues. I still really enjoy this coffee shop. The food, atmosphere, and overall experience are usually great, and the staff are normally very friendly and welcoming. I hope this waiter can learn to be a little more patient and kind when interacting with customers.”

  “I had a wonderful creamy sweet chili king prown here, another amazing meal as always. I think it's one of my favorite cafes in Harrogate. Everything was great. It's the only place I go for coffee, both in-house and for takeaway. You should definitely try their coffee… and finally, they have a beautifully decorated restroom”

  “I was introduced to this place by a friend, first of all you are greeted with a warm smile ..the staff are friendly and polite. The atmosphere is cosy and relaxed. It's clean and serves great food & coffee! We sat outside on the terrace and watched the world go by!”

  “Lovely lunch with family. The food was delicious and the staff were friendly and attentive. We had the bruschetta and calamari starters with the burger, lamb koftas and pasta for mains. We drove over from Leeds and we'll be back again!”

  “We had the full English breakfast, eggs benedict and some cold coffees for mains, followed by 2 deserts, 1 chocolate fondan and 1 cinnamon bun. The eggs benedict were delicious, especially the rocket salad, it made the dish refreshing and healthy. The full English was well proportioned and consisted of all of the traditional staples: 1 egg, 2 bacon, 2 sausage, 1 tomato, 1 mushroom, baked beans, 1 hash brown and 1 small piece of buttered toast. The staff were really accommodating, providing us with iced versions of the coffees we like and they were great. Overall the venue is very cute, the atmosphere is great, the staff are very friendly and the food was good value for money. Would highly recommend!”

  “Just happened to be walking past while searching for somewhere for lunch. We ordered an egg mayo and a beef sandwich and shared. Really generous sized sandwiches in toasted bread. Both were delicious and fresh and real deli quality. They came with a little side salad. The service was quick and very friendly and orders were taken at the table. We sat outside and felt so relaxed we ordered another drink so we could stay a bit longer. The people on the next table had ordered the deli mixed platter which they said was really good. Will be going back to sample other dishes on the menu as well as the cakes and flans which looked v tempting”

  “Amazing food, great coffee. The service was excellent. Such a lovely atmosphere inside as well. They’re definitely dog friendly as well which is great. I had the chicken, mushroom sauce with chips, it was delicious, very flavourful, I would happily have that again, my partner had the full English breakfast which was excellent as well.”

  “A lovely relaxed, quirky, slightly bohemian little place. We popped in here for a late lunch as we were quite hungry at the time. The menu seemed adequate enough and there was an option of Gluten Free bread for any of the sandwiches. I went for one of the HUGE sausage rolls along with a bowl of fries. My wife had a BLT on gluten free bread. It wasn’t the best of breads (as not many gluten free ones are) but the sausage roll was delicious and the fries plentiful! We were also tempted by the selection of cakes. My wife went for one of the three GF options, a Peanut Butter Brownie and I had a Raspberry Frangipani. Both were delicious.”

  “A lovely deli cafe that offers great atmosphere along food and coffee. I stopped only for takeaway coffee but the staff were absolutely amazing and welcoming. The were very attentive to dietary requests. The coffee was great quality and delicious. There are some tables available inside and outside. Next time I will pop in for food or cake as they looked great!”
