About Sunshine Cafe
Sunshine Cafe is a cafe on the Great Yarmouth seafront at 7 Marine Parade, run by a mum and daughter duo. The kitchen serves full English breakfast all day, with a jumbo breakfast and a full monty for bigger appetites. The team asks how you like your bacon cooked, so the plate comes the way you order it. Orders are placed at the counter, and the room seats around 30. Cash is preferred, and contactless is accepted. The cafe has no toilets on site.

Customer Review Summary
Breakfast is the main draw, with the jumbo breakfast, the full monty and an all day English breakfast described as delicious, well portioned and good value, and one diner liked being asked how they wanted their bacon cooked. Close behind are the friendly staff, including the mother and daughter who run the place, and the big mugs of tea. Reviewers describe a relaxed, quiet seaside spot with indoor and outdoor seating, though one wished for quiet background music. The criticism is specific. One diner found the sausages and bacon tasteless and the breakfasts lukewarm, and said the owners did not reply when customers said goodbye. Another disliked the tuna melt and the cheese and onion omelette, citing oily chips and cheap white bread, and noted there are no toilets. A third found the rest of the food nothing to get excited about and called the pricing extortionate. One reviewer who received a wrong order was offered a remake but had already tried the chips, which they called the worst they had eaten in a seaside town.

“Except English breakfast our other orders were not great, we ordered Tuna Sandwich, tuna melt and cheese onion omelette.. The oil used in the omelette was bad and took away the actual taste of the omelette as it was overly cooked and served with oily soaked potato chips. Sandwich bread was cheapest white bread and if you little bit squueze it you can make a dough ball from them. Last but not least, no toilets!”

“Order was incorrect to what was ordered. They offered to make it again but already tried the chips. For a seaside town gotta be the worst chips I've tried. Recommended to avoid. Breakfasts looked OK”

“⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (5/5) Food: 5/5 Value: 5/5 Drink options: 5/5 Service: 5/5 Atmosphere: 3/5 Visited for breakfast and ordered the jumbo breakfast with a drink partner had a normal all day breakfast and a drink which together came too £22.35. The food was really good tasted great and was a solid all round breakfast, potion sizes were spot on. Nice touch that they ask about how you like your bacon cooked too. The service was friendly and the mum and daughter duo who run the place are really polite. The atmosphere was relaxed and quiet, could probably do with a radio or something like that playing quietly but not the biggest issue. In terms of value, the prices matched the quality and portion sizes. In fact would go further and say that in comparison to my home town is quite cheap. Overall: I would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a good breakfast although they do plenty of lunch options as well I’d definitely return in the future.”
