  “Arrived to a very nice welcome by the host and staff member Nicola who served us. Olga who was our grill chef made the food amazing and cannot fault anything. All through the meal we were looked after and as an extra for our son they made a brilliant happy birthday plate up made of strawberry sauce to go with his ice cream desert. Never had a bad experience here and all I can say is thank you for sharing a wonderful day with us for our son's birthday.”

  “We went for dinner a table off 8 The staff were friendly and we got served very quickly at the bar the reat off the group came we all sat down ordered drinks which came out not to long after. It then took another 40 mins to take our order and Starters never came out for another 30 mins ,the child's food was always after the adults which I do not understand why ,we then waited about another 30 mins before main course and then had to ask to order desserts. Yes the food was excellent but alot off time between courses which made it along dinner trying to entertain a 2 year old. So I still gave it a 5* just need to improve on quickness and the it would be 5 *all round.”

  “Miller & Carter – My Experience Well, after spending around £100 for a meal for me and my son, I have to say I was really disappointed with my first experience at Miller & Carter. The table situation was a bit of a shambles from the start. We were part of a table of 12, and the chair I was given was absolutely filthy. To be honest, the table itself wasn't particularly clean either, which isn't what I expected from a restaurant at this price point. I had high hopes for my first visit to Miller & Carter, but unfortunately I can quite safely say I won't be returning. The food itself was average at best and, for the price we paid, I personally don't feel it was worth the money. The starter was actually very nice, so credit where it's due, but unfortunately the rest of the experience didn't live up to expectations. Overall, a disappointing first experience. When you're spending around £100 on a meal, you expect a lot more — especially when it comes to cleanliness, service and the overall experience.”

  “Well where to start! Upon arrival we had to wait. When we were shown to our table, it was in a tight corner with a wobbly table, we asked to be moved as the restaurant had hardly any diners, I don't see why we couldn't have been shown to a better table in the first place. The sides were late. The salad that came with the steak looked like it was several days passed it's use by date. I had the black Angus ribeye which had gristly bits. When you pay £33.00 for a steak you don't expect gristle. The vegetables that came with the steak were also old and limp. We complained about the salad and veg and received a small discount. We then had to wait again to pay. Normally when we come here on my birthday we get a little birthday slate. Nothing this time. As for the atmosphere there was a man a few tables down shouting and arguing with someone on his phone. Not a very pleasant experience 😕”
