  “Food was pretty good! I asked for an extra meat in my dish and the owner rolled his at me. Then asked for a portion of curry sauce and the eyes rolled yet again! Food was great, but slightly disappointed in the prawns having their shells on in a fried rice dish.”

  “We have eaten here many times over the past 20 years and more. We have always had great tasting, well prepared food. We have been to many Chinese restaurants and although this is not necessarily the best we have been to, it is much better than a lot of others in the quality and taste of the food. The service varies depending on who is on shift. In the last couple of years an older man (owner?) has often been there, and he is extremely miserable, not very welcoming. On the other hand the woman is always pleasant and remembers us each time we go in. Takeaway trade seems to have increased greatly, lowering the ambience of the place. Less people eat in the restaurant these days. Its only been decorated and had a new carpet once in all these years. The decor could be better, with a more modern feel. However, the tables are spotless with their damask tablecloths changed between customers. Not somewhere we would go every week, but a place to go occasionally and especially when family are visiting.”

  “The restaurant shares its entrance with the sports bar next door, and lacks a little signage but once you find your way inside, the service is friendly, and very quick, and the food is tasty. There is a wide range on the menu, with all the usual traditional dishes, reasonably priced. The restaurant atmosphere was a little flat - felt like a Chinese restaurant from maybe the 1980s, with about 6 tracks of background music continually on a loop. There were very few other seated diners when we were there which also reduced the atmosphere. There were some people collecting take-away orders and they continually came into the seated eating area, which somehow also reduced the atmosphere of calm dining. However, that apart, the whole experience was good and the food enjoyable.”
