About Tom Pudding
Tom Pudding is a micropub on Pasture Road, set close to Goole railway station and named for the area's rail and canal heritage, including the route from Goole to Scarborough. Four rotating cask ales line the taps, with local breweries taking a share of the bar. The owners are on site and talk through the beers and the area's history, while old local photographs hang on the walls around the small room. Dogs come in with their owners, and free one-hour parking sits opposite on the street. Trade runs on a walk-in basis, with no booking taken.

“A great afternoon was spent in the tom pudding with some fantastic real ales from local breweries and some slightly obscure ones from the north was a treat. There was some great banter between the staff and locals and i had a nice chin wag with the owners and several regulars who were happy to talk about some of the local history and other places of interest on or along the rail trail from Goole to scarchborough. Top beer, top company and a real community hub makes the micropubs one of the best to visit if you're over the Doncaster - Hull gateway. Well worth the trip from London . Get yourselves down there if you can! 🍻”

“Fantastic little pub, very close to Goole railway station. Free, 1 hour parking opposite too. 4 (rapidly rotating and extremely well priced cask ales, with a well considered choice of options from the landlord, who is extremely friendly and willing to discuss both his ales, and the local history from which the pub gets it's name. Plenty of old local photos on the walls too. We visited on a Saturday lunchtime, which was quiet, but given the amount of beer this place gets through, it must be busy at other times. Highly recommended!”

“Went here before and after our game with Goole Vikings on Saturday. Very warm welcome, locals very friendly and equally chatty. Will definitely return next time we play Goole.”
