About McDonald's
McDonald's at Speedfields Park in Fareham operates as a walk-in fast food restaurant serving the American menu centred on hamburgers and breakfast items, with chicken dishes and delivery also part of the offering. The branch runs a drive-through alongside collection-only ordering, and customers waiting on collection sometimes park in the car park until their order is ready. The counter format handles orders directly without reservations, and the restaurant opens six days a week, closing on Tuesdays. The range covers the broader McDonald's line, from breakfast service through to the standard burger and chicken plates.

Customer Review Summary
Complaints about app orders dominate. One reviewer was told at the drive-through the order could not be processed and had to be cancelled, while a delivery driver collected food. Another found two happy meals stone cold, with calls going unanswered. One grandparent noted no crayons, and one reported a rude cleaner. Others call it a good option and praise breakfast.

“Took our granddaughters there for a happy meal but no crayons to colour in the crock pictures. Seems very petty but after a long day we need a bit of rest and no crayons is not what we needed.”

“Always a good option for a fast food choice”

““We’re waiting for your cheeseburger “ app order done in the car park. Walked in showing as ready, clearly not. Wouldn’t have been an issue if the cheeseburger was hot . 2.6 miles home, stone cold meals (2 happy meals). Tried to call them 70 times, just rang out. Total waste of money time and no “treat” for the grandchildren”

“My experience was terrible. Ordered via app for collection via drive through, arrived to see 6 other cars with people eating in the car park. As I drove through I was told they could not process the order and told me I must cancel it. I asked why they could not serve when others were eating. No reason given just repeated to cancel the order. Upon leaving I saw a deliveroo driver arrive and successfully collect food. Extremely disappointed at this poor service.”
