Customer Review Summary

Filled bagels draw the most praise, especially the cream cheese, bacon and chilli jam bagel that one couple ordered three days running and another reviewer called the nicest they have had. Close behind are the coffees and a hot chocolate, with lattes, a flat white and a cappuccino mentioned, plus soups, a cranberry danish twist, a bacon roll and avocado toast. Reviewers describe friendly staff, a chilled vibe and quick service, and one notes the till worker's kindness to a 92 year old grandmother, including suggesting an untoasted roll and a lighter cup. The complaints are about seating and attitude. One reviewer says they were stopped from binning trash and first told to sit outside despite paying the dine-in charge and many empty tables. Another says their parents, one with a broken elbow, were kept off the tables and put on high stools by the toilets, and describes hostility. A third says a soup was charged but never brought. One diner recalls the wait for a plug being resolved only after explaining a need for an outlet.

“Food and drink was high quality Only issue is my mam ordered soup and a cuppa tea. And only her cuppa tea was brought over I ordered a cheese n bacon ciabatta and a latte. They claimed they “didn’t hear” her order the soup though we were clearly charged for it! (The shop maybe had 1-2 tables of people in)”

“Stopped in for breakfast, had a bacon roll, bacon and sausage roll, flat white and latte for about £25. Lovely food & coffee but the service was incredible. Really lovely young lady with glasses working the till who was very accommodating to my 92 year old grandma. Including suggesting not toasting her roll and getting alternative cup as hers was initially too heavy. Great service!”

“Went in here to grab a quick drink and light breakfast before hopping on the hop on hop off bus across the road. Server was really friendly and food and drinks came out quick. The wife said it was the best hot chocolate she has ever had. Would recommend.”
