Customer Review Summary
Pizza draws the most praise here, with diners calling the pizzas brilliant and the food fresh and piping hot straight from the oven. One first-time customer also notes how quickly it arrived. Kebabs come close behind, with the chicken kebab a named favourite and the meat described as lovely. Staff are repeatedly called friendly, portions a good size, and one returning customer singles out the burgers. The criticism is sharper and recurs. Two reviewers report food poisoning after a Bolognese pizza, and one describes a gummy layer when checking a slice. Others say quality has slipped. The parmos are very greasy, especially the cheese, the donner meat was like sliced fat, and a large donner kebab arrived as a small portion of salad, wafer thin meat and one pitta. One diner found the cheesy chips so heavy with cheese that they had to microwave them. The free cheesy garlic bread is described as greasy and painted with oil.

“08/0726 - Pizza Top has really gone downhill. The free cheesy garlic bread was painted with oil; I couldn’t see any ham on my ham and pineapple Parmo. My husband enjoyed his ham and pineapple pizza, but I thought it was very greasy. Pizza Top used to be much better quality, but seems to be getting worse…. Another time in 2026 - The meat was awful. The kofte tasted of fatty ??? (It’s supposed to be minced lamb; but was minced something, with fat). The Donner meat was like sliced fat and the chicken was reconstituted with water and polyphosphate and beaten to death on the griddle! The ‘free’ cheesy garlic bread was very greasy. Chips not too bad. The salad seemed like it had been soaked in water for too long. Overall, I was very disappointed for £18.20 delivered. Normally, I’ve got things from here and quite enjoyed them, especially the burgers. The parmo’s are very greasy, especially the cheese. They are quite polite, until you start asking about the increase in prices or, if you can change the ‘special offers’ to cans of pop, instead of ‘free’, cheesy, garlic bread.”

“I ordered a cheesy chips and there was a bit too much cheese on it so I literally had to put it in the microwave it is all right for the price, but I don’t really deliver that much from there now”

“Ordered a pizza last night me and the partner have ended up with food poisoning. Been a loyal customer for years and now I don't think I could ever eat here again for how poorly we are. It was a collection order of a Bolognese pizza and we have done a slice check and it's gummy layer.”

“Absolutely terrible. Overpriced for what I asked for. Asked for a large Donna kabab. Received a small portion of salad wafer thin meat and 1 pitta bread. For £9 paid full price for a small kabab. And it came short of an hour. If you want quality food and a good amount and quick delivery go to Spicy Moments in sacriston. Spicy moments is quality food and would recommend it over pizza top any day of the year. Minus points for pizza top. .”
