  “We had a really good experience at Pepe’s. The food was fresh, tasty, and exactly what we were hoping for, but what really stood out was the kindness of the staff. I asked for a glass of water to cool down my baby’s formula, and when the lady realised what it was for, she thoughtfully added some ice without me even asking. Later, my daughter became quite fussy while we were eating, so I asked if they happened to have an unsalted chip for her to munch on. They didn’t, but the gentleman working there kindly fried a few unsalted chips just for her. It’s little acts of thoughtfulness like these that make such a difference, especially when you’re out with a baby. The staff went above and beyond, and we really appreciated their kindness. Thank you—we’ll definitely be back!”

  “I am writing to express my disappointment with the service I received during my recent visit to this Peppe location. I have been a regular customer for some time and have always enjoyed my experiences, which is why this visit was so shocking. The member of staff who served me was a female employee. From the moment I entered the restaurant, the customer service was poor. The female member of staff at the till was noticeably rude, unfriendly, and appeared impatient while taking my order. Rather than making me feel welcome, she gave the impression that serving me was an inconvenience. After placing my order, I realised I needed some extra serviettes and cutlery. When I went to get them, the same female member of staff again appeared irritated and looked visibly annoyed simply because I had approached the counter. I was also disappointed by the way my food was handed over. As I was dining in, my name was called out in what I felt was a rude and dismissive manner for me to collect my order. What made the situation even more upsetting was witnessing other customers being treated very differently. They were greeted warmly, spoken to politely, and some even had their food brought to their tables. It was difficult not to notice the clear difference in the way I was treated compared with those around me. The attitude displayed by this member of staff, and the overall behaviour of the team during my visit, was unprofessional and unacceptable. Every customer deserves to be treated with respect, courtesy, and consistency, regardless of who they are. No one should leave a restaurant feeling unwelcome or singled out because of the way they were treated. As someone who has supported Peppe for a long time, I am extremely disappointed that this was my experience. I hope this feedback is taken seriously because the level of customer service I received fell far below the standard I have come to expect from Peppe.”

  “I ordered pepes and found the delivery man was sitting in his car and was on a call for around 20 mins where I was waiting for my food which I paid for!!! What is this pepes !!!pls understand that give priority to your customers!!! I was waiting for my food and that man was sitting in his car and was calling somebody for bloody 20 mins!!! Awfulll!!!!!!”

  “Super delicious—I would definitely say it has been an amazing experience at Pepe’s Piri Piri. The variety of food they serve is impressive, and the quality of both the food and the customer service is excellent. The staff are friendly, and the overall atmosphere makes every visit enjoyable. I would highly recommend Pepe’s Piri Piri to everyone, whether you’re a vegan or a non-vegetarian. There’s something delicious for everyone!”

  “I ordered a paneer burrito and was served with a chicken burrito instead. What more can a vegetarian expect. I know I am in a Pepe's which is basically a chicken delicacy, but when someone asks for a vegetarian food they should consider it more carefully. I go there because they serve good food and the staff are friendly. Now also, the staff behaved well, but whoever vegetarians are visiting the Pepe's Dumfries, please check your order twice.”

  “i am eating from them since 3 years but its my 4th time, when i get its delivery always get the chicken loaded fries mild flavour, full of ketchup and tomato sauce ( no scene of mild sauce in it) really disappointed. But when its eatin then its different and totally okay. kindly look at this otherwise you may loose your old customers.”

  “FANTASTIC MEAL! Great flavours and well cooked chicken! Loved the salad they give with it too. Helps balance the flavours. Crispy chips and fluffy rice, fall off the bone chicken wings. All topped with a crispy irn bru! Great staff too”

  “Young Asian woman (manager advised she is new) who appeared to have tremendous difficulty getting our simple order correct was laughing like a child when I challenged her as to why she asked over and over again what we ordered. At one point she even walked to our table to verify the flavour of the soft drinks. Needless to say the order was wrong. Some of it was barely warm and the thickness of the chicken fillet was approximately 4-5mm which is extortionate bearing in mind the price of £8.99! Complained to the manager who didn't really want to listen and sided with her but had no conviction with how to deal with complaints 🤔. Travelled 30 minutes to get here as needed something to eat prior to a 5-6 hour journey home 🏡. PLEASE STAY AWAY UNLESS YOU WANT TO TREATED WITH CONTEMPT! WORST PEPE'S I HAVE EVER HAD THE MISFORTUNE TO EAT AT AND I HAVE BEEN TO MANY UP AND DOWN THE U.K.”
