The kitchen runs from breakfast through to dinner, with a Traditional Breakfast in the morning and plates such as Gammon Egg Chips and Peas or Lasagna Chips and Garlic Bread later on. Customer Review Summary
The burgers draw the most specific praise, with one family singling out the chicken breast burger with chips and salad and a beef burger in barbecue sauce, both credited to a change of chef and a new menu. Close behind, several describe quick service and friendly staff, and one repeat visitor who ate breakfast and dinner across four visits reports never a bad meal and good sized portions. Others found the food better than some city pubs and the drinks fab. The recurring complaint is temperature and completeness: one diner describes a large order arriving almost entirely cold, with carrots alongside a pie served ice cold and a reheat offer they could not accept, while another says two meals arrived missing everything apart from the beef patty, with the peppercorn sauce dismissed as a joke. Value splits reviewers sharply, some calling prices reasonable and others standard holidaymaker food at steep cost. One notes the arcade and restaurant stay open without an entertainment pass.

“Decent menu and decent prices. If you don't buy an entertainment pass you will be interrogated by the 'camp guard' every evening but in truth, if like most normal people, bingo makes you want to gouge your own eyes out, you don't need one..the Arcade is open to all as is the restaurant. Nice atmosphere, always a free table.”

“Service and atmosphere was pretty good but ordered £90 worth of food and almost all of it was cold. The bits that weren’t were barely warm. They offered to reheat it for us but couldn’t due to medication. Carrots served with pie were ice …”
