  “Disappointing experience at Entouraj We had heard good things about Entouraj, so we decided to treat ourselves to somewhere a little more upmarket than we would normally choose, as we were celebrating one of the group’s birthdays. Unfortunately, the experience fell well short of expectations. We were a table of 10 and arrived at 7.30pm, but didn’t leave until after 10pm. The massive delays between courses made for a very drawn-out evening and took away from what should have been a special occasion. Spending over two and a half hours in a restaurant isn’t necessarily a problem when the food and service are worth it, but sadly, that wasn’t the case here. The food was a real let-down. We ordered the Chicken Tawa and Chicken Jalfrazi, both at Madras hot, but neither delivered the heat, spice or depth of flavour we expected. Both curries lacked the punch you would hope for, particularly when specifically ordering them hot. The Chicken Malaya was equally disappointing. It was so bland and lacking in flavour that I only managed two mouthfuls. I took the rest home, hoping that leaving it for a day or two might allow the flavours to develop and the meat to absorb more of the sauce. However, when I tried it again two days later, it was still just as disappointing. I ended up having to add my own spices and pineapple to make it enjoyable. Having heard such positive things about Entouraj, we went in with high expectations, especially as we were spending more than we normally would for a birthday celebration. Unfortunately, the slow service and underwhelming food made the whole evening a disappointment. All in all, a very disappointing visit. We had hoped for a memorable meal to celebrate a birthday, but the experience simply didn’t live up to the expectations or the price point.”

  “I have been coming here for many years. This is the best Indian Restaurant you will ever find in the West Midlands. Never disappointed ...the staff are always polite, professional and courteous. They are also the same faces which means loyalty and staff retention play a big part in this business. We've just booked again for our Christmas party. You won't be dissapointed here. We'll worth a visit.”

  “I visited this restaurant while on holiday after reading the reviews, I was not disappointed. The staff were very nice and very helpful, the service was excellent. The restaurant decor was very nice and very clean. The food was outstanding with very large portions, and tasted amazing. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves Indian food. I will definitely revisit this restaurant in the future if in the area area.”

  “We entertained a party of seven who had helped us and we wanted to impress them. We were not disappointed! The atmosphere was quietly efficient and organised.The staff are extremely friendly and welcoming. The table was laid for six but they quickly reorganised the seating. We had a variety of starters which showcased their unique tasty food and the main courses were equally delicious. We shall definitely return as the total cost wasn’t prohibitively expensive.”

  “Lovely 13th birthday meal for my son and family. Food was simply delicious i had the mixed grill and salad. Chicken was so tasty and huge portions. Husband had chicken jalfrezi and kids had Chicken Tikka Massalla. All food looked and tasted amazing. Service was great, very attentive despite it being a busy evening.”

  “Brought some Australian friends to dinner on their final night of their uk visit. They were extremely impressed with service and food on a very busy Saturday evening. Each enjoyed their meals very much and said how delicious it was. That’s high praise from Aussies especially as they travel the world! So thankyou to all the staff for making the night perfect!”

  “I booked this for a group from Bromsgrove u3a. This is my personal review and not that of Bromsgrove u3a. The booking process was relatively easy as we where a group of 11. The £10 a head late cancelation/no show charge is totally understandable. However still charging it if one or two of the group don't make it is disappointing and unnecessary. After all if a group of 4 book there is no booking fee and they are not charged if they don't turn up. That said this is a lovely bright, roomy and welcoming establishment located right on the main road. There is a reasonably sized car park but owing to the popularity of the place it can get rather busy. The seating was well laid out with room for each person to easily move and if necessary leave the table without disturbing others. The service was excellent from all the staff all being polite, helpful and attentive. The food was delivered quickly and was nice and hot and I can speak for the whole group when I say everything was very well presented, very tasty and plenty of it. Everyone was very impressed with the location, decor, service and quality. We will be returning in the future.”

  “I was so looking forward to eating here, heard so much about it. Mothers day booking. 3 of us ate. When we walked in, I observed how large and bright the restaurant was (7.45pm booking). Our table was in the middle, and so felt a little like a canteen, with the lighting quite bright, it did not feel like a special evening meal. We started with poppadom's, we did not ask for the chutney tray, but it was delivered and charged for. (no other restaurant has ever charged us for this). I did see it was on the menu at a cost of £2.50. But we did not order it. The food was very nice, quality of the chicken was really nice, probably some of the best I have ever eaten. While we were eating I received an email from the restaurant saying, while they appreciate plans can change, it would have been appreciated if we could not make the reservation to give them notice. We were literally sitting in the restaurant eating!!!! Overall, I felt the restaurant lacked atmosphere, service and all the waiting staff gave an atmosphere of being rushed, and overall I felt it was a little on the pricey side. I probably would not re visit, and use a more local restaurant. I was disappointed with our visit here.”

  “I was visiting the area and recommended to this restaurant so thought I would give it a go. Although the car park is not really small the restaurant was very busy there so there was no empty car spaces apart from two marked out for disabled so i had to double park. Arrived at 6pm but it was not till 7:20 that the main course was served up after just a poppadom starter which came out quick so not the best of service. The restaurant was very noisy so I would not recommend if you are out for a quite meal. The food tasted lovely and was well presented served with nice cold kingfisher beer. Shame about how load the restaurant is and the long wait for food as the food is lovely but won't be in a rush to go back.”
