“Nice welcome from the gentlemen. Lovely looking place. We ordered a takeaway, which was ready for us. Food was delicious. Full of flavour and NOT padded out with whole tomato or un-cooked onion! (Like other places!) Nor oily either. Good naan bread. And I ordered a mango lassi, wonderful. We will be back. The also have won; East of England Curry House of the Year 2026! I can see / taste why. Well deserved, and congratulations!”

“We visited the Downham Tandoori last night after a friend recommended this Indian restaurant. We were not disappointed ! Everything was perfect - food delicious, service polite and efficient and atmosphere was great too. It was a warm summer’s day so the air conditioning was a welcome feature so we could comfortably enjoy the spicy hot food. Restaurants like this deserve to do well, as they bring so much to the local area. Was able to book table online, which was also helpful. Prices were also very reasonable, we had two main courses with Indian beers, several popadoms, chefs special rice, potatoes and two nans for £56. Left a good tip as they all deserved it. Recommended !”
