  “I've used this place for over 40 years, its one of the few places that does really good chow mein. I recommend beef chow mein with curry sauce on a tray, its about a tenner and if I could only eat one thing for the rest of my life, it would be this.”

  “Honestly, this is getting ridiculous now. Just had another Chinese takeaway and once again it was insanely salty—to the point where it’s barely edible. That’s three times in a row now, so it’s clearly not a one-off mistake. At this point it feels like there’s zero consistency or quality control coming out of that kitchen. You’d think after the second time we’d have learned, but giving them a third chance was clearly a mistake. Really disappointing because when it’s good, it should be good—but this level of saltiness just ruins everything. Not worth the money, not worth the hassle. Really disappointed again as I spent £20 for my partner and I both disgusted at the saltiness of the food somethings have to change here for sure!”

  “Please don’t order from here! I placed my order at 19:15 and it arrived at 19:32, I live 8 minutes from there so it gave them 9 minutes to cook my food on a Saturday night! The food went straight into the bin it tasted like it had all just been re-heated! I then checked and saw it had 1 star, I’ve ordered from here many times before and it had been nice but I will never order again.”

  “Order today 4/4/2026 Usual story prices keep going up and quality keeps coming down, Chicken fried rice used to be pure white Chicken breast, unfortunately not any longer, make your own mind up, keep paying top Dollar or vote with your feet !”

  “Fantastic food. First time ordering and I think it might be my favourite Chinese takeaway. Super tender beef, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside salt and pepper chicken, seasoned to perfection. Soft noodles with bean sprouts super tasty not to oily. First time trying shredded chicken with honey and chilli, delicious. Special boxed meal is a great value for money. Very good prices and super nice service. Will definitely order again.”

  “Orderd the food just after opening time (quarter crispy duck, sweet and sour chicken balls, crispy honey chilly chicken, sweet and sour chicken Hong Kong style, chips and egg rice) only tuck 10 mins to cook so was expecting fresh hot food as I picked it up and only live 5 doors away. No not at all. The food was all cold and stale. Like it was Saturday nights left overs heated up in the microwave and No flavour at all. The duck was mostly skin and fat and even had a 2 inch leg bone in it. Most of the food went in the bin so was a complete waist of 35 quid. Won't be going again”

  “WOW BY OTHER REVIEWS IM NOT THE ONLY PERSON THATS HAD A BAD EXPERIENCE!!! THEY MESSED MY ORDER UP & OVER CHARGED FOR WHAT I GOT. I ordered salt and pepper chicken fried rice chips and sweet and sour sauce. I received salt and pepper CHIPS. NO CHICKEN. The size of the portion for the price is absolutely disgraceful. LUCKY SEVENS portions are double the size and much nicer taste too. I called the takeaway up. And was basically called a lier down the phone. He Even started to rase his voice at me as it started to sink in that I was right about my order. He didn’t even Have the decency to apologise and accept he’s made a mistake. I always use lucky seven just along the road. And always get the same thing every time. It’s all I ever order from any Chinese take away. Salt and pepper chicken. NEVER AGAIN will I use Dragon house. It actually is a dragons house.”

  “This used to be one of the best but has progressively got worse, finding meat in your food is like bobbing for apples, very little of it and poor quality, missing ordered items, with an explanation you will get it next time, yeah like that helps. Kept going back but this weekend was the last straw, shame but it’s time to try somewhere else, they are living on past awards etc, very poor quality food for this day and age, bad attitude to customer service, only positive is the delivery people are really polite. Shame as this was my go to for years, it’s like a break-up and I need to move on 🥲”

  “Meal was delivered very quickly and the food was amazing. Tried other places occasionally but always go back to Dragon house. Really didn't want tonights meal to end as it was just delicious. Deep fried shredded beef, egg fried rice and chips between 2 of us. More than enough”

  “My order was completely wrong, no excuse as it was a white English man what answered the call and took my order. Tastes absolutely mingling, sauces was leaked in the bag I re rang for another order and they said there was nothing they could do or give me a refund after spending £37 pound something. Best thing about my order was the bottle of Coca Cola I will not be ordering from here again! Take my advice and do not order from here and waste money! I tried giving my big dog the chicken chow main as he eats anything and even he wouldn’t eat it as I didn’t want to waste £37”
