  “Huge 80th birthday celebration with 17 of us and our server Elizabeth worked so hard. We really appreciated her making the day go so smoothly. The food was excellent and we are grateful that a steak house restaurant had multiple options for our vegetarian guests.”

  “The Sunday set menu was delicious and great value for money! Vegetables were a bit bland/dry but this wasn't an issue as I had plenty of sauce with my steak (which was very tasty). The highlight was definitely the atmosphere and service! Elizabeth was an excellent waiter, especially with our large group. She was so friendly and attentive.”

  “The whole experience was the worst restaurant experience we have ever had. First of all, the lady at the check in desk was rude, we were standing waiting to be served and she just stared at us and ignored us, then waited and in a rude tone said ‘can I help’. We were then waiting 20 mins after our booking time to be seated at our table. When ordering, more of the menu was unavailable than was available, we ordered 2 sharer garlic breads which were wrong 2 times, the waiter said that the order was ‘overwhelming’, once part of the order came we were then told that there was no garlic bread left, so only had half of what we ordered. After being sat down for an hour after our booking time, we still hadn’t received a drink we ordered or even the lettuce wedges. The only good thing about this experience was our waitress Honey, who could not apologise enough and was the only person there who had the decency to explain the situation with the food and apologise for the experience. Unfortunately, we brought a miller and carter gift card for this occasion, however the likeliness of us returning is zero. Now we have a £100 gift card that is useless and a waste of money. I genuinely could not, advise to not go to this restaurant, the staff (except for Honey) were rude, the service was slow, more than half of the menu was unavailable. The atmosphere was shocking, we were sat next to a family who were all on their phones, which of course wouldn’t ever be an issue, except the younger children were watching videos at full volume. A shame as we used to enjoy coming to miller and carter, a genuine let down and waste of time and money. We left before the mains came out because of this - we didn’t even have a meal.”

  “I’ve been to Miller & Carter three times now. Previous visits were ok so this may have been an off day. The chips were initially cold, tasted a little stale, although a fresh batch was brought out quickly. The green beans didn’t seem very fresh either, little sour taste. One piece of chicken was cooked nicely, the other had an undercooked texture. Cheesy Mushrooms were nice though & presentation was good. What really stood out was the service from a lady I think called Honey. Warm, polite, attentive, and genuinely helpful throughout. I’d still visit again, but would likely try something different from the menu.”

  “Have been here a couple of times over the past years for special occasions. There's plenty of parkings and the venue is adjacent to a public garden, great for you to go for a walk after a feast at Miller & Carter. Staff is friendly and welcoming, they will take care of you and pay attention to details. We enjoyed the atmosphere, a tad dark but makes it cozy and easy for you to chat with your guests. Ordered the mix platter but in a steak house like this, I'd rather recommend you order a specific dish as trying out different cuts will make you realise that meat quality will differ massively 🥩 Unfortunately, prices can be a bit on the higher range than avg. restaurants in the area, so I understand this can alter a bit your experience. That said, overall, a good place to go to for great occasions! 🎊”

  “Booked a table for 4 for my Mum’s birthday. Was seated quickly and in a perfect location in a booth. We were served by Darcey, she was lovely, very attentive and answered any queries we had. The food was piping hot, cocktails were flowing and tasted amazing. I would definitely recommend Miller and Carter and their great service.”

  “We came here for my birthday celebration amd it was lovely. Food was fantastic and the waitress, Elizabeth, was fantastic. Very helpful and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble and she was careful with my sons allergies. She also made them feel part of the experience. Fabulous service as always!”

  “Popped in with the family for lunch. We reserved a table for our party of 7 and were seated straight away on arrival. We were served by Robert who is a real credit to the restaurant. Funny, friendly and very helpful he made it a great experience. Food was incredible. The car park is free and you just have to register your vehicle on the tablet on entry. Nice relaxed vibe, definitely recommend.”

  “We had an amazing time there and a guy that was hilarious serving my, 😆👍🏻 my whole family had steak and desert last, unfortunately there is one problem is that there isn't a drop curb outside the restaurant for disabled access, and we went there for my mums birthday! Really do recommend going there for a birthday or a date or whatever! The guy is a legend and it was like a little comedy show in a restaurant 😆👍🏻”
