Quick info
About Bao Bao
Bao Bao is a Taiwanese restaurant and bubble tea counter in Croydon, set on a shopping centre unit. The kitchen serves Taiwanese street staples, with salt and pepper chicken and katsu curry among the regularly ordered dishes. Bubble tea runs alongside the food menu and is ordered as often as anything in the case, and the kitchen keeps prices low across both the drinks and the plates. The interior carries decorations that give the small unit a bit of character, and the format is built around counter service for dine-in, takeaway, and delivery. Orders are placed at the counter, and the room suits a quick meal or a stop for a drink rather than a long sit-down.
