Customer Review Summary
Thai curries draw the most praise, with the green curry called a personal favourite and a red curry ordered extra hot. One reviewer adds that the curries are still good even though soy-based dishes have recently turned exceptionally salty. Phad Thai is described as world class for Northern Ireland, spring rolls get a mention, and the service staff are called helpful, welcoming and quick. The complaints are specific and come from several reviewers. One diner describes yellow and massaman curries swimming in fat, with sparse, poor-quality meat and mostly onion and potato. Another says the pad kra paw tasted of cornflour-thickened gravy and chili flakes rather than basil, and reports a stomach ache afterward. A third asked for no onions and received a dish full of them, plus barely fried rice that had to be re-fried at home. One reviewer who ordered hours ahead still stood in the rain waiting for the food and got no apology.

“Food used to be 1st class but recently has been exceptionally salty, seems to be anything with soy sauce as thai curries are still good.”

“Pad kra paw is nothing like pad kra paw and this review will reflect the opinion solely based on what was ordered and dim sim (which is strange to be called that) was chewy which is even stranger. Pad kra paw should taste fresh and filled with the signature sweet sour spicy taste with the taste of sweet basil coming through and not some sad dollops of chili flakes and cornflour to thicken the gravy and taste like chemicals that taste like food but is not food. It was also nothing like a stir fry based which should taste fresh. It gave me a strange ache in stomach and it took a day to recover from it. Please don't sell it as Thai food or any food. throwing some meat in a generic Asian tasting gravy with cornflour thickened chemical tasting flavour does not make it any cuisine. Especially not Thai. Not this gross misrepresentation of Thai food is fair!”
