  “Had a brilliant time here recently. Everything was served hot and fresh, and the portions were absolutely massive. The food was packed with flavour, especially the generous helping of fries that came with every meal. Seeing the Coca-Cola Zero Sugar can on the table really set the relaxed vibe for the whole experience. I will definitely be back again soon.”

  “One of the most disappointing dining experiences I’ve had in a long time. From the moment I walked in, the place felt neglected and poorly looked after. The cleanliness and overall presentation left a lot to be desired, and the atmosphere felt more chaotic than welcoming. The food was completely underwhelming. Considering the reputation and prices, I expected something memorable, but what arrived was average at best. Portions, flavour, and quality all fell short of expectations. Nothing stood out for the right reasons. The staff looked stressed and unhappy, which created an uncomfortable environment. As a customer, it gave the impression that morale behind the scenes isn’t great, and that inevitably affects the experience. What frustrates me most is the gap between the online hype and the reality. There seems to be far more emphasis on social media promotion and influencer content than on delivering a genuinely good customer experience. The glowing reputation online simply didn’t match what I experienced in person. Overall, an overrated restaurant that relies heavily on marketing while the basics—food quality, cleanliness, atmosphere, and customer experience—seem to be an afterthought. I won’t be back. definitely better choices around the Country For PROPER BQQ Grub”

  “Visited here last week for the first time on Saturday afternoon. The food was absolutely delicious and portions were huge! No complaints at all. Even with a slight queue youre seen too very quick, and a great buzzer system to notify you your food is ready. There was a new girl on her first shift taking orders at the counter who provided lovely service, and the staff behind her were so kind to her and reassured her to take her time as im sure it was a bit overwhelming even though it was busy! 10/10 will be back.”

  “Incredible food!! Never had anything like it before - it makes sense why there are always people queuing out the doors! The beef brisket was incredible. Super flavourful and falls apart. The portion sizes were huge and such great value for money! We will 100% be returning!”

  “Wow! Easily the best food I've had in NI! The ribs were absolutely incredible. The meat fell off the bone and were cooked to perfection. I'd definitely recommend the ribs! The burnt end beans were also very impressive. We loved the brisket but did prefer the ribs! 10/10. Highly, highly recommend!”

  “Waited in the queue, and by the time we'd sat down with our food 3 hours had past. The food was lovely but!! The smash burger was a tad salty for my liking and the loaded chicken fries had too much sauce. It was all good and this was just my taste. Someone else may think differently. Ive tried it but after standing in that queue I wouldn't do it again.”

  “As someone who is really into BBQ and is normally behind one, the chance of enjoying some low and slow goodness myself was worth the 90 min drive and 60 min queue. We visited on a Thursday arriving 15 minutes before it opened, a friendly gent was directing cars so there was an orderly system of parking. Approximately 30 people where already queuing and the atmosphere was very warm. It took approximately an hr before the queue moved to the point of ordering. The menu is presented as per the picture and you can dine in or take away. You’re given a buzzer with a number that activates when your order is ready. This is really fast and the 3 meals we ordered (yes between 2 🐷) were ready in about 4 minutes. The brisket and pork ribs were succulent and had a sweet smokey taste. The chicken on the loaded fries was crispy and well seasoned. The chips served with each are skinny fries, there are much better fries out there like stealth fries but at a place like this you are not there for the fries, you’re there for the meat, which does not disappoint. Cutlery is provided if you are eating in and bins are provided to place your waste into. Some people didn’t do this which was a shame they didn’t respect the property. The pastor who is the pit master came through checking on everyone which is a very warm and welcoming touch. A toilet is available although basic. Everything is on ground level therefore accessible. Highly recommend for someone who enjoys some soul food.”
