“The best pizza place. We’ve been going every Sunday evening for years. Management and staff are always friendly and we have a bit of craic and a good laugh. Keep up the good work from your valued customer Mrs Smyth lol”

“Great food- been coming here for years and the food is top quality. The girls at the till and phone were very helpful, friendly and well mannered. Fantastic service as always in particular the long haired, red-headed girl & curly haired girl (I think her name is Cynthia?). Lovely girls & amazing food!”

“Absolutely awful the customer service was shocking from the start. The girl serving was rude, rolled her eyes while taking the order, and acted like serving customers was a massive inconvenience. Sorry for making you do your job. The food was no better. The pizza and chips were completely bland with barely any flavour and definitely not worth the money. Overall the whole experience felt unwelcoming and disappointing. Won’t be back and wouldn’t recommend.”

“Was there for the first time over the weekend, not a great experience. Rang up looking two pizzas and a chip, person who answered the phone was very sharp and rude and when I asked how much it would be she huffed and groaned over the phone. Was told my order would be ready 1 hour later, arrived slightly early which was my fault. Waited another 40 mins in shop before my pizza was even put in and when I asked at the till was met with a terrible attitude off the girl serving. Rolled her eyes when I asked and gave me stink eye until my pizza was ready. When we got to the car the ship was so greasy as if it had been cooked a few times the grease was soaking through the bag and was cold. Pizza was bland and powdery. The prices are okay it’s not too dear but definitely not worth the 30 quid. Attitude of the staff is stinking and the wait times are terrible!! Would recommend apache or domino’s instead”

“After my first visit I echo many of the reviews before me. Food good but the timings are not close to accurate. Order placed at 1757 and told ready for collection at 1845. In fact food didn't begin to be prepared till after 1900. No effect to apologise for the delay. So regardless of food I won't be returning. Easy fix would be to tell customers how long the wait actually is rather than an optimic guess.”

“Went here last night for a medium pepperoni phoned on the way there and the pizza was ready in less than 5 minutes and it really made my week honestly. Customer service was great and everybody was super helpful as I asked was there any nice icecream places around. Over all great pizza shop and I will be back”

“Hands down the most flavourful pizzas in Portadown. Simple by design, no gimmicks, no fuss — just proper pizzas done really well. They know exactly what they’re about and stick to it, and you genuinely can’t fault the food or the menu, even though it’s as basic as it comes. The only downside is the wait times. As someone who’s been in the industry myself, I’d really urge the till and counter staff to tighten up their time estimates and be upfront with customers. When a quoted 30–40 minutes turns into 90, it gets frustrating. The food is absolutely worth the wait — just be transparent about the real ETA and people won’t mind half as much.”

“Hot tip to future customers: Phoning in your order is not worthwhile - walk in off the street to get ahead. • I phoned ahead, placed my order. • Was given a time to collect (1 hour later). • Arrived on time and paid. • Ended up having to wait a further 30 minutes. • People walked in off the street, ordered their pizza and had their orders completed ahead of mine. • I asked to confirm if my order was still happening - "It's coming now". • The young girl behind the counter did apologise for the delay when my order was eventually completed. Whilst usually quite good, to add insult to injury the pizza tonight was soggy in the middle and obviously rushed. Our house likes a takeout on the weekend, and we've been giving Pizza Palazzo a go for the last few weeks. Whilst it's a dreary and aged place, we've been trying to support local businesses and the food has been mostly good and tasty whilst being pretty decent value for the money - however 1.5 hours from time of order for 2 pizzas isn't good enough. If you're looking for Pizza in Portadown, there's plenty of options. I'd recommend paying a bit extra and go to somewhere like Dominos or Apache with actual standards and processes in place to support demand.”

“Phoned an order in for 2 pizzas, was told it would be ready to collect in 15 minutes, i arrived on time but still had to wait a further 30 minutes. A quick "sorry for the delay" would have been nice but none was given. When i got home i found one of my ordered pizzas and an empty box where the other pizza should have been. How a mistake like this could happen has left me very confused. All that being said i really do like the pizzas!! The young lady who took both my calls was very polite and was apologetic.”
