“Yesterday I took my Nan to Nando’s for lunch in Colchester town. I was pleasantly surprised to say the least. Me and my Nan waited at the front of the restaurant to be seated and was greeted by Amel. Amel informed us there was a 10 minute wait to be seated. My Nan does not speak or understand English, so I translated this to her in French. Amel waited until I finished speaking with my Nan and then spoke with us in French. This made my Nan’s day. Amel’s excellent customer service continued. She offered us water whilst we waited. Seated us and despite her colleague already checking in us, she did so too. Thank you for giving us a pleasant experience. Nan: “It’s nice and helps when someone speaks another language. She did not cut you off despite understanding French. She was professional and polite.” All the best, Chloe & Nan”
