Customer Review Summary
The complaints are just as specific. One reviewer found the rice rock hard, the curry watery, and the chips overcooked. Another describes soggy reheated spring rolls and oily chicken balls, and a third calls the egg fried rice terrible and the Hong-Kong sweet and sour chicken straight out of a tin. A vegetarian crispy duck was called fatty and overcooked, and one order arrived wrong with undercooked chicken. Three reviewers describe phone calls about problems as dismissive, shouting, or aggressive, with refunds refused and requests to bring the food back. One reviewer says they intend to report the takeaway to Environmental Health.

“Delivered 30 mins before schedule. Aggressive call with 'Claudia' demanding we bring back the food. She then phoned on repeat during the evening. Not our fault and no refund or replacement available. Avoid these people please”

“Chose restaurant because of vege “crispy duck” option, something we’ve had many times from other restaurants, but it was awful. Looked like a completely different product to anything we’ve had before. The “duck” was full of fat, overcooked, crisp to the point of disintegrating and had no flavour. Would not order again from here. The stars given are on the basis that my husband’s fish dish was fine he said.”

“Brilliant food! No idea how these other reviews are low. We're far away and the food still comes hot, crispy food is still crisp, soft meals are soft and never had a wrong order. I've had loads of Chinese takeaways and this is miles apart from the majority. The salt and pepper chips are the best I've ever had but all the food is brilliant. Will never order from anywhere else while I can get from here”
