  “The food was absolutely amazing, and the atmosphere was warm, cosy, and inviting. I really enjoyed the whole experience from start to finish. I don’t usually like lamb chops because I find that the smell of lamb can be quite strong, but the lamb here completely changed my mind! It was incredibly moist, tender, and flavourful, and there was absolutely no unpleasant lamb smell at all. The soft-shell crab was one of the best starters I’ve ever had. It was crispy on the outside while still being soft, juicy, and tender inside. The sauce paired with it was delicious. Honestly, eating it made me feel like I was sitting by the seaside enjoying fresh seafood with a beautiful view! But the scallop was the real star of the starters. It was cooked absolutely perfectly—so soft and tender that it practically melted in my mouth. Definitely try it with the sauce because the combination was incredible. Overall, I absolutely loved the food, the experience, and especially the warm and cosy vibe of the restaurant. Everything was 10/10 for me. One of the best Indian restaurants I’ve eaten at so far, and I would definitely come back!”

  “Absolutely loved my experience at Ginger & Spices! If you're a seafood lover, the scallops, garlic chilli prawns, and soft shell crab are absolute must-tries. Every dish was perfectly cooked, fresh, and packed with flavour. For meat lovers, you can't go wrong with the tandoori lamb chops and the lamb roghan josh—both were tender, rich, and incredibly satisfying. To top it all off, their signature mocktails were refreshing, beautifully presented, and paired perfectly with the meal. Great food, excellent service, and a fantastic atmosphere. Highly recommended, and I'll definitely be back!”

The service was absolutely superb — the staff were friendly, attentive, and very accommodating, making sure we had everything we needed throughout our visit. The food was excellent; every dish was full of flavour, well-prepared, and served at just the right temperature.   “As a family of 4 we had a great time. This restaurant is local to us but we’ve never been. Our neighbourhood has many options including a few Indian ones, however we really enjoyed it. Great atmosphere great attentive service and very friendly. Wonderful food selection and even our fussy 7year found something he fancied and loved it! We will definitely recommend and hope to be back soon.”

  “Ginger & Spices is a fantastic Indian restaurant on Chislehurst High Street, known for its rich flavours and fresh ingredients.   “Firstly the food was delicious here and probably the best lamb chops at a Indian restaurant I've ever had!! And would definitely return but the issue was with the half a rubber band found in my chicken chilli! Which can be seen in the pictures!! So when this was raised with the waitress she returned claiming that no one recognised it from the kitchen which is even more worrying as this object had ended up in my mouth!! Look you can see clearly from my thousands of contributions that they are genuine and honest unfortunately not like the kitchen staff here, its clearly been cut and from my kitchen experience its probably from a band which is placed around spring onions. I did asked a older male waiter passing by (not the manger which is also concerning, if anyone complained of this in my pervious restaurants where I've worked the manger would have be sent straight to the table) who was more understanding and I did show him my Google maps reviews and explained to him thst I'm not after a discount or free drink as the food was excellent but concerned where said object had came from to start with if no one recognises it! Other small issues with service was we ordered 2 lagers 1 with a top. When served the waitress didn't know what 1 had the top so returned them only to come back with both pints looking like they both have had a mouthful taking out of them. I know this probably wasn't the case but you could have at least topped them back up! It was you mistake. Lastly took forever to bring the card machine for payment. Overall I would return for the Amazing food but staff training and attentiveness could be better. Lots of parking available Very loud on a Saturday evening but that not the restaurant fault.”

  “Was my second time in ginger and spice and food was amazing as always. We had mix grill, prawns, chicken chilli and some nans as well as cocktails and mocktail lagoon was so good also chilli cheese garlic nan was my favorite nan even though it was not on the menu. Thankyou ginger and spice for amazing food and service highly recommended.”
