  “Visited Chester for an event and browsed around a few restaurants looking for cheap and cheerful as I didn't want a large meal with tourist prices attached. Someone in our party suggested American pizza slice as they had been to this one before. On our first inspection the prices seemed great but the slices on display looked dry and had seen better days. We left for this reason but returned about 10 minutes later as it was the cheapest place to eat. I chose a Chicago pie pizza as the other slices where dried up. This was around 7pm on the evening. After a 5-6min wait my slice was reheated and served. I thought it wasn't hot but warm enough to eat so I tucked in and had a beer. My friends pizza a pepperoni was very dry to the point he had one bit and gave it to me as I was more hungry. Roll on 2 am I awoke with stomach pains feeling nauseous. I tried to go back asleep but ended up projectile vomiting from 2 am to 7am mirror less none stop. I can honestly say it must have been the pizza as this was all I had to eat that day, and it was undigested and repeated on me. Staff were rude and I noticed a person preparing the pizza dough in the pan with bare hands no gloves pressing the dough with fingertips and exposed fingernails. Against my better judgment I followed my hunger instead of my head for food hygiene. Never again”

  “Went here with my partner for my birthday meal as I was staying locally. The pizza was really amazing. Best American style pizza I've ever had for sure! Staff on duty were lovely and welcoming, and food came out quickly. The seating inside is lovely and there was only 1 other group eating in so plenty of space. We had the whole pizza and it was presented wonderfully on a stand, and had 1 pizza between us with beer and it was very reasonably priced for the portion size. Would definitely go again if I was in the area”

  “I tried the Chicago style Margherita slice, it was absolutely amazing, everything like I expected, so deliciously crispy, cheesy and the perfect temperature for eating right away. Only issue are value for money, for little over £3 you quite a small slice for the wait time and price. Would happily pay that for a more generous portion, like the slices you see in the movies! Definitely won't stop me from coming back through”

  “Really disappointing fake American Pizzas. Staff is not supportive and even many flaws in making pizza like the cheap quality of ingredients, hygiene issues because no proper cap or gloves provided to the employees and big issue in serving pizza because they cut all the pizza with one cutter no matter vegetarian or non-vegetarian even the scissors they use to cut the slices of pizza is same for vegetarian as well as non-vegetarian pizza. Kitchen is very small that’s why the containers in which the toppings are kept sometimes mixed with each other no separate partition for vegetarian or non-vegetarian toppings. Very expensive as compared to quantity and quality provided will suggest you all to avoid this place and not student friendly at the same time.”

  “Delicious. Had the Slice Deal Three on the meal deals - you get two slices of pizza for £6.10. My favourite - the square shaped pizza - full of flavour - Detroit spinach garlic and goats cheese & pesto - very light base. Dog friendly.”

  “Quite simply the best pizza I have ever had. (And I’ve had some pizzas trust me.) I ordered the sausage Chicago style pizza and it was ready when they said it would be bang on time. Everything tasted so fresh and genuine, I would recommend this place to anyone in a heartbeat. 10/10 🤩 ps. I know the photo probably doesn’t do it justice but I’m staying in a lorry cab, so unfortunately it isn’t the ritz!”

  “We visited this store on the 7th of Feb 2026 around 16:25. Me and my husband walked over to the counter to order our food and as we were looking through the glass counter deciding what to eat suddenly the pane of glass on the counter flung open and hit me on my shoulder. I was obviously hurt and said what the hell was that!! And my husband pointed out the faulty latch that was holding it up had moved slightly allowing the pane to fall down and smash into me. The staff were so unbelievably rude, the woman behind the counter came marching out and said ‘oh ye don’t touch that’ when we never touched it anyway, the second staff member behind the counter rolled her eyes and was looking at me in disbelief like I’d done something wrong!! Not one person asked if I was ok or if I’d like the accident book etc, since this incident my shoulder has been painful. No apology was given from anybody. This is clearly a breech of health and safety and the cabinet needs fixing as a matter of urgency. I am quite tall and luckily this hit my shoulder (it did knock my glasses on the way down) but if I was any smaller or even worse if I was with my children that day this would of smashed them on the head without a doubt. I have attached a photo that shows one catch and we’re the other missing catch is (circled in red)”

  “A pizza lover’s paradise on the high street. A few times before, I’ve been to places in the UK that claim to do different regional styles of pizza but it was just the same pizza cooked in an iron skillet or a wood-fire oven. This place has the three distinct styles of American pizza done perfectly. The sauce is incredible, the bread isn’t floppy like with neapolitan pizza and the cheese has the stretch you hope for. I went for the deal that gets you two slices and a budweiser, but I had to go back to try a third slice. Just incredible, I hope this place stays forever.”

  “With three styles of pizza, New York, Chicago, and Detriot, it is a great addition to Bridge Street. Because it is great to get just a slice of pizza instead of a whole one.. You can get deals for more than one slice and make a pizza with 8 different slices. If you like your pizza, you will love it here!”
