  “Lovely lunch location! Got some excellent toasties and some delicious coffee, staff were delightful and we loved our visit! They had a great range of guest espressos, and knew their stuff: deffo worth a visit if you're into coffee.”

  “A warm, welcoming and cosy cafe. Staff are very kind and friendly. The cacao acai bowl and iced chai were absolutely delicious! Considerate music volume for neurodivergent folk and relaxing tunes. Highly recommend a visit!”

  “I had a really lovely time at Bean and Cole and recommend to a friend. Here is my review! PROS: Firstly, customer service wise, although it isn't something I'm too fussed about generally, everyone had a smiling face and was very kind. Food was bought to the table and even a jug of water with my meal, although I didn't ask for it which was lovely. The ambience was delightful, chill music and chill vibes. I sat in for a meal, but they are fine with you bringing laptops as I saw a few people with laptops. I got an iced vanilla latte, which was delicious. The coffee itself was strong and flavourful. It was very sweet and nice and they did not add too much ice. And the glass was big. I got the Friday morning meal which was Avocado toast with a small yoghurt granola fruit bowl. Both tasted good. Also avocado toast is usually a very bland meal but this was so tasteful. Plenty of avocado, and Italian leaf salad with drizzled olive oil a good amount of rock salt and a slice of lemon and tomatoes. Put together it tasted so good. CONS: I felt like the menu could've had more on it in terms of food but of course the people working there can't help it.”

  “Nice cafe, had late breakfast here on a week day. Staff are welcoming. I am gluten intolerant but fortunately their granola on the acai bowl is gluten free. Would return if we visit Chester again in future.”

  “Nice little café in the heart of Chester. I had an iced matcha which was really tasty and perfectly made, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. Great relaxed atmosphere and I’d definitely come back!”

  “I say on posting this for a few weeks, as I didn't want to be unfair with my review. But, I was very shocked at the prices and sizing for the coffee... This was £4.30 for a caramel latte... I am no barista, but my understanding was that a latte was something like a quarter coffee to the three quarters milk.. I was very disappointed, and felt ripped off. I can't have had much on the way of coffee, as the cup provided was the size of a flat white, or potentially also used for espresso? It's a shame as I had been pleased to find an indie that might become my preferred, location wise it suits me. But perhaps I am greedy or too used to other coffee shops offering larger cups! Flavour wise, it was delicious in fairness!”

  “Magic in a Cup. So good I went twice in one day. The staff are amazing and always so welcoming. Me and my Partner have been a few times and always leave thinking this place. The staff are always so accommodating even when my little dog brings mischief looking for fuss. Will definitely be back!”
