  “The culinary experience was highly unsatisfactory. The establishment's temperature was uncomfortably cold. The order did not align with the specials board. The T-bone steak was unappetizing in texture and overall quality. Least the dog enjoyed the bone”

  “We hadn't booked, just turned up. Seated imminently and drinks orders taken. Drinks arrived while we looked at the menu, ordered Pasta Romana (which was delicious) and my daughter ordered a meat feast pizza (which she couldn't eat all of it and they put the remaining 3 slices in a box to take home). I'd left my phone in the car so I i popped out for it (& answered a couple of messages I'd missed). Got sat back down and the food arrived!! Delicious, well cooked, piping hot and once eaten,cwe weren't hurried out. Bill came to £31 for those two meals a J20 and a large Pepsi Max. I could add a tip when I paid - which is good as I never have cash on me!”

  “I use this restaurant regularly and its always great food with fantastic service. I come here to Chester- le st branch with friends and family ! When we get the soup for our first course its always home made and really tasty .we've had a mixture of all kinds of food here. Highly recommend 😊”

  “What a fantastic place ch le st sambuca is Visited with sister and niece on Monday 13th and nothing was a problem to the team , we all had a starter which was fantastic and continued to have a main , the waitress noticed I wasn’t enjoying my meal and asked if there was an issues , I said it wasn’t to my tasting and straight away offered me a replacement meal of my choice which was delicious ! Thanks sambuca We will be back soon 🤩”

  “We visited here for the first time and we were really impressed. As soon as we walked in, it felt welcoming and relaxed, and the staff made us feel right at home straight away. All the food was really lovely and generous portions, although special mention for the black pudding, the carbonara and the desserts (although had to have these to go as we were stuffed). Everything came out looking great and piping hot, tasted great. There’s a good variety on the menu too. What stood out to us the most was how fast and smooth the service was. Everything arrived quickly and without any issues. The staff were on it the whole time – really friendly, attentive, and just easy to chat to. Knew the menu inside out. Good cocktails menu too. It never felt rushed or awkward, just really natural and pleasant. It’s great value for money. The quality is spot on, the prices are more than reasonable for what you get. You feel like you’ve had a really good deal. Also great music choices and at a level you could enjoy it and also easily hear and be heard. All in all, we had a great experience and would definitely recommend it. We’ll definitely be back!”
