Customer Review Summary
Delivery speed is the complaint reviewers raise most at this takeaway. Several describe orders promised within an hour that took nearly two, with food arriving cold or not at all. One says the Just Eat app showed the order as delivered while the restaurant said it was still there. A few cancelled and say staff on the phone were blunt, offered no apology, and still said they would be charged. Food criticism is mixed. One diner found the beef in black bean noodles too salty and the noodles and rice dry. Another found the chicken chow mein tasteless, the curry chips short on sauce, and a pancake roll greasy and raw inside. A one-star review calls a chicken noodle soup bland and watery. On the positive side, the chicken curry, egg fried rice and chicken balls earn praise for flavour, with one reviewer calling the balls the best in a while and another saying a third takeaway arrived lovely and hot. One reviewer who found the noodles dry still enjoyed talking with the staff who served them.

“Had a takeaway for the 3rd time from here and food is always lovely and hot and very tasty.”

“Absolute shambles of a restaurant. Delivery was supposed to be one hour. 1 hour 40 minutes later, three phone calls and nothing. Usual excuses of bad traffic, but we have managed the same route in 10 minutes. Lady (? person) on the phone, rude, blunt and unhelpful. Disgusting service. If you cannot deal with orders, do not take them. Had the cheek to say we would be charged. Cancelled payment via bank.”

“Waited and waited for the food to arrive (nearly 2 hours) , in the end I gave up and cancelled the order. Just eat announced food was out for delivery and then that it had been delivered. After phoning the restaurant I was told the food was still there. No apologies, no manners at all for the inconvenience.”

“This has been a disappointing experience. It look over 2 hours to get my food, I only live like a 6 min drive away. When the food finally arrived it was cold. Its a lot of money to spend on convience food when its neither quick/ warm or very nice. My dish the meat was dry and overcooked. I called to ask about what was talking my order to long and they said an hour in to my wait it was with the driver. It should not take an hour to get to me. I feel lied to. I wouldn't order from here as they are not worth the wait.”

“Really tasty. I had the chicken curry which had so much flavour. Egg fried rice was lovely and I don’t usually have the chicken balls as everywhere else they are oily and have a lot of dough but China Spice balls were the best I have had in a while. Would recommend”
