  “Popped in here for some food before shopping a few weeks ago and had such a good experience. My partner ordered the mixed grill and really enjoyed it. I ordered the pork belly and when the food came out I was breastfeeding my baby and the female member of staff was so kind and attentive! She offered to take it back to the kitchen to keep it warm until I was done and even offered to have the chef cut it into bit size pieces so it was easy to eat. She went out of her way to be helpful and inclusive. Having had some negative experiences with breastfeeding this really meant a lot! I wish I’d got her name but hopefully you can figure out who she is and pass on some positive feedback! All I remember is she had dark hair and was wearing black trousers:leggings and black trainers”

  “We had a fabulous afternoon celebrating our nephew's birthday. Lisa was our server, and we couldn't praise her enough. Nothing was too much trouble for her—she was so warm, friendly, and attentive throughout our visit. A thoroughly enjoyable afternoon was had by all, and we'll definitely be returning in the future. Highly recommended!”

  “Came here to use Groupon voucher. Met by friendly staff member. Decent choice of food for the voucher,over the free salad bar as usually sav8somr to put on main meal plate. Not too long s wait for food, half roast chicken was delicious and great desserts. Thank you Harvester”

  “Our visit to the restaurant was a lovely experience. It's the first time we have visited since the refurbishment and it did not disappoint. Our server Lauren was so welcoming and personable. She was happy entertaining our daughter's giant Stitch teddy and even brought an empty milk glass to the table so our daughter could pretend to give Stitch a drink. She was very attentive throughout our meal and checked in to make sure our food was ok. The food itself was delicious, hot and fresh tasting. We will be back again.”

  “Always best to book online before making a visit. My friend and myself came to The Winding Wheel on Thursday 2nd July. It was very busy but we were shown to our table, told who our server would be and he then came to take our drink order.i have been coming to The Winding Wheel since it opened and always have the same main, The Original Combo, chicken and ribs. It is a lovely mix and tastes delicious. We visited the salad bar, which we both love. It seems they have changed their bread rolls, this was the only thing we didn't like, but, it didn't spoil our visit. We had refillable soft drinks, my friend did make use of this and had 2 glasses of coke. We had a very relaxed visit made even more special by having a really nice guy as our server. He was chatty and efficient in his job. Please don't forget to put your registration number into their machine or you'll get a parking ticket!”

  “I visited here yesterday by accident after another M&B site had to close due to an issue in the kitchen. Was politely greeted by the waiting staff as soon as I walked through the door and was instantly taken back by just how good it looks after the refurb. The food and service was very good. I did however notice the prices have shot up, £16.99 for fish and chips and £19.99 for a rump steak - £24.99 for the slightly larger sirloin. I didn't realise at the time the batter for the fish and chips is made on site, but it is still extremely expensive for a chain pub. That being said, the place was packed so the local residents and/or Junction 32 shoppers didn't seem that bothered about paying it. Would return, just a pity it's not too far off Miller and Carter prices! In fairness, a lick of paint inside and a different sign outside with the open grill kitchen layout it pretty much looks like a Miller and Carter.”

  “Such a great evening meal. The atmosphere is cosy yet fresh, not surprising given its beautiful new refurb! The manager Neil is super welcoming and our waitress Hannah was lovely and attentive. All the food arrived hot and looked and tasted great, whilst the salad bar was fresh and full. Toilets were clean-always a plus! 💛”

The chicken was crispy, the bacon was cooked to perfection, and that syrup tied everything together beautifully. ​Highlights: ​The Food: The waffles are a must-try. Hearty, fresh, and delicious. ​The Service: Our server, Lisa, was absolutely amazing!   “Laura served us today and it’s not easy catering for a keto couple who need to make lots of changes. She was excellent and nothing troubled her. Food was on time. Warm. Tasted great and we were catered for very well”
