  “Cheap and cheerful 😊 Had a Sunday lunch here. £10 for a roast and drink. Great roast potatoes and nice veg, not boiled to death! Children's roast was a good size too! Staff were friendly. Will definitely go again.”

  “Had an awful experience here. As a group of 3, we ordered drinks and wasn’t asked for ID. Then, we paid and sat down to enjoy the drinks and the barista comes over to the table and asks one of the group if they have ID. Bear in mind she didn’t ID us when getting the drinks or paying for them. The member of the group did not have ID as it was left at home but is 19 and very clearly looks it. The barista then takes the drink that I had paid for away and did not offer a refund or substitute of any kind. It was my understanding that your supposed to ask for ID before pouring the drink or at least before the drink is paid for. Then the drink was spotted sat on the bar and the barista presumably drinking it.”

  “What a friendly welcoming pub. Staff very knowledgeable about the wines they sell. And the food is decent quality with good portions size. They actually managed to fill my teenage sons hollow legs!”
