  “Been going to Papa Browns for years, haven't been in a while but went this evening for dinner and was incredibly disappointed. We treated ourselves to a spontaneous meal out as it's been a long time since we last ate out. I ordered the sirloin steak, medium rare, and my wife ordered the Texan roller. When the food came out my heart sank, the steak was well done, not even the slightest hint of pink. I didn't want to cause a fuss but figured I'd say to the waitress when she came back to check in. She never did though, we ate our food and had finished for a while before she came back. The other waiter had been to check on his 2 tables near us twice each in this time. My wife didn't finish the chips that came with hers as they were dry and bland, clearly cooked from frozen chips. When the waitress returned for our plates she asked how the food was and I told her about the steak. She gave a half hearted apology and offered a dessert on the house. When we both said that would be fine she stressed to us that it's only be one free dessert which was fine but her communication just felt very abrupt. When she brought the cutlery for our dessert in one of the buckets there was a brown sauce smear in the bucket that had also dirtied the napkins. We felt too awkward to bring it up when she returned with the dessert. It was unsettling to think it hadn't been cleaned after presumably having someone else's dirty cutlery in it. Dessert was good but unfortunately we both left disappointed and deflated. I feel I could have prepared both of our meals at home at better quality - something I never thought I'd say about a meal in Papa browns.”

  “Had dinner here, nice decor, very clean. Great service from a young waitress with black hair and glasses sorry I didn’t get your name. Food was tasty and piping hot, we had the chilli chicken with lattice fries, and the peppered chicken stack. First and second round of drinks came pronto. Child friendly, they even have 2 sections to their kids menu - one bit for those who only want the classic nuggets/sausages/chips etc and another section with kids portions of some of the adult meals for children who want to have something more adventurous. Overall we had a lovely dinner and would come back again :)”

  “Haven't been to papa browns in ages and it was lovely, it has gotten more expensive but that's the same everywhere due to price hike in everything these days. Staff were very friendly and welcoming and we had a nice chat with our server, who answered any questions we had. Food arrived quickly and wow so much food, portions are excellent size wise. My chili chicken strips we're.ade different as I'm allergic to coriander which is in the sauce so they did me a sauce of my own and put it on the side and it was so tasty, as was the chicken which came on a bed of fresh salad, I chose the salt chilli chips and omg they come in a salted chilli butter which is so flavourful. My husband got a burger and upgraded it by adding a southern fried chicken fillet, needless to say he couldn't finish it, you could climb it lol, I had a bite and it was hot and fresh and tasty, so much so my hubby said it's the bet burger he has actually ever had an he's a fussy git 😆, he got pepper sauce with it which he also enjoyed. He chose cruss cross fries and they were hot and crispy with a nice garlic mayo for. We both took half home as we wanted to share a desert; we picked the sticky toffee pudding which wasn't too sweet and was very light, it came with vanilla ice cream and toffee sauce...it didn't last long at all 😂 all in all we really enjoyed the food and even though the prices have gone up the food was worth it!”
