  “Sen Lin Chinese Takeaway serves up great tasting and top quality Chinese food. I've ordered takeout from them several times and have always been impressed with the fresh, delicious dishes they prepare. The ladies who run the till arw also very friendly and welcoming when I've gone in order my food. My only gripe is that I'm never quite sure if they offer delivery. Their leaflets and Facebook page list a phone number for orders, but each time I've called, I just get a message saying the line is busy. Because of that, I've had to place orders in person. Still, for the tasty cuisine and otherwise solid service, I'm happy to give Sen Lin Chinese Takeaway 4 out of 5 stars. I'd love if they could clarify their delivery availability, but even for takeout, it's a standout Chinese spot in Carluke.”

  “Pretty poor service from here, I ordered a meal in June 2021 and when I was eating it I found 2 thick, short and almost white hairs in it. I binned it and left it at that. Tonight I thought it was a 1 off and tried them again, made an order and it came with ANOTHER hair in it. We called the place and the girl on the phone wasn't exactly helpful "well I don't prepare it" yeah I know that, but go and feed it back. We then had to go to the place to get the refund back on the card..which is fine, but again the girl behind the desk piping up. An Asian girl comes out the kitchen with a baseball hat on and no hair net. Service was a shambles, any place in their right mind would have said something along the lines of " were really sorry, this certainly isn't the standards we work by, let me speak to the kitchen staff and make sure they are all wearing hair nets" etc. But no, wanted it swept under the carpet and wanted us out. Took a picture of the hair and kept a bit of it too, just as proof it was from someone in that kitchen. All in all very very poor service and clearly low kitchen hygiene standards”
