About The Farmhouse
The Farmhouse is a cafe and breakfast restaurant in Calne, found at 20 Phelps Parade, and it welcomes dogs, so owners can bring their pets along when they stop for a meal. The kitchen serves an English breakfast, and the bacon sandwich comes in a bap. Home-made cakes are part of the offer, and the coffee list covers lattes and a frappe, so a visit can be a cooked meal or a drink with something sweet.

Customer Review Summary
Reviewers most often single out the friendly staff, with the home-made cakes and scrambled eggs on toast named alongside good coffee. One says the cake beats Costa, and another recalls staff checking about a lactose allergy when coconut milk was requested for a coffee. Close behind, the dog-friendly welcome stands out, including chicken pieces for one visiting dog. A bacon sandwich was so good that a reviewer's grandchildren ate half of it, and an English breakfast earned praise despite a sausage found a bit dense and a wish for a few more baked beans. Others call it a great community hub with affordable prices, though one finds the latte a bit pricey. The sharpest complaint is from a reviewer who found the cafe had run out of baps and the bacon overcooked. Several reviewers describe the staff as kind and helpful, and one server was thanked for making a dog feel welcome.

“We visited today the 16th of September, we are one holiday visiting for the week from bournemouth. We were served by the loveliest young lady I have ever had the pleasure to meet. Bubbly, friendly, super polite and very very efficient. She had a lovely energy about her. We had some cake, scrambled eggs on toast and some coffee and a frappe, what was the cherry on the cake was it was dog friendly which I absolutely love ❤️ i wish there were more stars here, as for the lovely lady serving it 5 stars are not enough. Thanks for making our doggie welcome and the chicken pieces . If we ever visit again your little Cafe will be the place we visit. Keep smiling you lovely lovely lady 😘 💕 ❤️ xxxx”

“Home-made cakes. Better than Costa. I asked for coconut milk for my coffee. I was kindly asked if I had a lactose allergy as the cake I'd ordered has butter in it. Friendly, helpful staff.”
