Customer Review Summary
Steak is the draw at this Burnley grill, with reviewers praising a beef fillet, a medium-rare steak served with fries, mash, veg, corn on the cob and peppercorn sauce, and steaks that are "always on point." Close behind are the burgers: a steak and cheese burger platter with generous portions, and smash burgers one reviewer calls the best in the North West, with a choice of chips or rice. Parmesan and crispy loaded fries with peri sauce also get mentions. Staff are repeatedly described as friendly, polite and quick, with food arriving piping hot for several diners, and one reviewer found the interior clean and colourful. The criticism centres on flavour and consistency. Reviewers describe dry, flavourless food, a bland burger, chicken that could use more flavour, and cheese overwhelming the mince on the loaded fries. One reviewer also noted slightly dirty cutlery. The lowest review describes a late, cold order that arrived with the signature sauce despite a request to leave it off, no visible extra cheese and missing grilled onions, so the burger had to be reheated.

“I recently dined at this lovely little spot, and I have to say, the food is really nice! From the moment I walked in, I felt like I was in for a treat. The menu had a great, and everything sounded delicious. I ended up trying their signature dish which was the beef fillet steak , and wow, it did not disappoint. The flavors were vibrant, and everything was cooked to perfection. The portions were just right—not too, but enough to leave me feeling satisfied. I also loved how fresh the ingredients tasted, which made every bite enjoyable. Plus, the atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, which added to the overall experience. I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a nice meal. I can’t wait to go back and try more dishes!”

“We came from Birmingham and had a great experience. The customer service was 10/10, and the staff had lovely manners—they were very polite and respectful. The food was served very quickly and arrived piping hot. It was delicious, and we couldn’t fault it at all. I would definitely recommend this place and would happily visit again.”

“Just smashed a medium‑rare steak at Jungle Grill Burnley and honestly, what a place. Staff were sound, the atmosphere was chilled, and the steak with fries, mash, veg, corn on the cob and peppercorn sauce was spot‑on. Top food, top service, top value. Hidden gem in Burnley for sure.”

“This was so disappointing 😞 not only was it late (20 mins) it was cold. I asked for a cheese burger with no signature sauce. And extra cheese. It came with the sauce and couldn't see any cheese!. The steak smash burger was not very nice. Again I had to heat it back up. Didn't find any grilled onions it was supposed to come with. Not happy and won't ordered from here again.”

“Twice in 2 days, once with mates and second time with family, absoloutly amazing food, great service also Steaks are always on point, parmesan was really good. Chicken could do with the flavour infused within. Overall great experience, very friendly staff. This place is going to put Burnley on the map!”
