  “We are travelling on our narrowboat and moored in the next village. Our food was delivered to the local pub, at our request. Delivery was quick, food piping hot and beautiful. Staff efficeint and friendly. Highly recommend.”

  “Slightly odd. We had a table for 3 people booked for 5:30pm. They called us to ask us to change the time of the booking, a bit inconvenient but we agreed to change to 6pm. We arrived at about 6:05pm, the table wasn't ready. Not an issue we thought, we waited while a table was cleared. The menu was smaller than usual, and had no prices on, which was strange, we asked the guy who just said "£13", we had to extract that that was for starter, main and poppadoms, ie that's pretty good value, so I'm not sure why they were trying to hide the price, surely you'd shout about that. We were asked to order food within a few minutes, we asked for a bit more time to decide, the guy came back over after about 1 minute and said I really need to take your order now because we need the table back by 7:30 and there's other people waiting. So that just created stress for the whole time we were there, why are you rushing us when we've literally just sat down, and the table wasn't even ready on time. He was right though, there was a large crowd of people waiting for a table later in the meal. Starters arrived, fish pakoras were bland and batter was undercooked. Beer was warm. Rest of the food was nice, no complaints there, although they did come and start taking plates away while we were still eating, odd. The main courses arrived at about 7:10, ie about an hours wait for the mains. We're not in a rush, and we're there to enjoy the time, but when you've already told us we've got to eat and be out in 20 mins, that's no way to enjoy a meal we're paying for. Eventually the manger came to ask how everything is, we told him the issues, at first he said it was all due to us changing our table booking, which was just an insult, but eventually he listened and told us not to rush, we can take as long as we need, and offered us a free round of drinks, which was a nice gesture and put us at ease. Unfortunately we'd already been stressed up until that point. We asked for some foil takeaway containers, which they brought over no problem. The table next to us also asked for the same at the same time. When theirs arrived, they had a hole in the bottom... I wonder if those were meant for us after we'd made a fuss, or it could just be a coincidence. Finally, they couldn't take card payment, as the card machine "might be broken", and instead asked us to bank transfer the money to some guy called Abu, which is pretty sus NGL. To be honest we'd probably overlook all this if they hadn't made us feel rushed, uncomfortable and stressed from the start. If the manger hadn't intervened then it would have been 1 star, but he did and the curry was nice, so overall it's 3 stars.”

  “Fantastic food, by far the best in and around Burnley padiham. Great service with a a really good atmosphere, helpful staff and very friendly staff. Les the manager is absolutely brilliant, really took care of all 14 of us and made our dining experience so much better. The family all loved it and will definitely be returning, keep up the good work lads.”

  “Well,where do I start, food unknown due to booking a table for mother's day and being told they where not aware of the booking, I booked early March for the purpose of mother's day celebrations and my kids where more excited to go than us, we booked on their website for 4.15 and shortly after got it confirmed via email and still have proof, we arrive bang on time and we all made the effort to get dressed up , confusing as soon as we walked through the door, man asked for our name, said it was not on his list, then he told us you booked for 6.15, he then asked for us to speak with the man at the bar, well it gets worse I again explained my booking to be told I'm now not on any list, even though the other bloke said definitely on arrival but 2 hours later to our real booking, I was then asked to show proof on my booking online so I did only to be told it had never come through, I asked if this was my fault to witch I got a reply from the person at the bar well its not mine either, stood around for around 5 minutes due to this person looking less and less interested in my family booking to be told a second time it was not there fault, I was then offered 6.15, I asked for other times to be told then nothing was available all night even the 6.15 and we can't stay even though 2 tablets had at that time nobody on them. I asked if that was it to be told yes, nothing offered in a way of an apology, my daughter was close to tears and as for the other guests witnessing this well I'm sure all thought this was disgusting customer service and hopefully will not return again incase there treated the same way, we then went to another Indian restaurant that waited to all our needs and with a smile, never again, be careful when you book its not garented to be honoured and I feel its over booking time slots to insure the tables don't go waisted, again disgusting, could of offered us a discount or a free takeaway to try and make right there wrongs but zero.”

  “Ate here a few times and no matter how busy they are, you always get a really nice meal. The staff are always polite and happy to help. Even their takeaways are really nice too. Can't recommend this place enough.”
