About New Taste
New Taste is a Chinese takeaway on Burnley Road in Burnley, run for collection with a large menu displayed on the wall behind the counter. Customers order at the counter, with a staff member there to take requests, and the kitchen covers familiar Chinese dishes alongside special chow mein and a munchy box. Payment is cash only, and a cash machine sits nearby with staff willing to pause and let customers step out for cash before completing the order. Orders are taken for walk-ins, and the setup is geared toward quick counter service rather than a sit-down meal.

“The servers made the place feel really nice and friendly and I was able to have a nice chat with one. Having a large menu on the wall made it easier to see than on my phone and helped double check my order. The place is cash only but there is a cash machine nearby and the servers let me pop out to get some more cash to pay for my food. The food is amazing and I would really recommend. I have been multiple times and each time I've had something new and I've liked all the things I've had.”

“Thank you for arranging the full refund, I appreciate you dealing with it. I have to be honest though, the amount of salt on everything completely destroyed the taste of the food. Hopefully my taste buds recover soon after that level of salt. Thanks again for resolving it quickly”

“We have ordered from New Taste plenty of times in the past and never had a problem. We spent £50 on a takeout last night and the munchy box was a box of salt/special chow mein was good but unfortunately something rotten was included. The worst food poisoning ever! Won't be ordering from New Taste again.”
