Customer Review Summary
Sky Chinese Takeaway draws strong praise for its generous portions and friendly service, with several diners highlighting the special chow mein as a standout dish, often described as huge and easily feeding multiple people. Many reviewers call the food hot, fresh, and tasty, with particular mentions of fresh chicken and good curry sauce, and several say it is the best Chinese takeaway they have found locally. However, a recurring set of complaints points to serious inconsistency. Multiple reviewers describe the chicken chow mein as lukewarm and slimy, with one noting it seemed half reheated and inedible. Other negative experiences include a vegetarian noodle order delivered covered in prawns despite a stated fish allergy, crispy chicken arriving drenched in sauce after a request for no sauce, seaweed coated in salt, bland soup, and tasteless chilli beef. One customer reported waiting over two hours for delivery with no resolution, while another said the shop offered no reorder or refund after a disappointing meal.
