  “Best chinese in Bridgwater by far, the 3.8 star rating is a joke, this deserves way better the food is high quality, the shop is spotless and has an open kitchen they are always polite and not a long wait on collections. I highly recommend this place.”

  “I have been using Ruby’s for around 5 years, the food is always piping hot, we never wait more than 5 minutes and you can see them making it on the spot. Probably the fastest and freshest chinese in Somerset! Food is always perfect, the member of staff on the till is very understanding and offers to make my partner anything on the menu as a veggie option instead of meat due to her being vegetarian. I will say it’s Cash only, which isn’t an issue as there is a cash point next door. All around very happy, couldn’t ask for more from a takeaway!”

  “I honestly don’t understand why there are so many bad reviews. The food was fresh and tasty. It’s not a Michelin-star restaurant, but it’s definitely not poor either. The place is clean, and the person taking orders was straightforward and efficient nothing wrong with that at all. Overall, a solid local Chinese takeaway and I’d happily order again.”

  “So got a Ruby's not had it for awhile so was looking forward to it ..... what a disappointment it was disgusting!! Food was defo reheated with cold patches and some dishes was soggy, chips want even cooked .seems like they keep putting prices up but food quality has gone right down . Should have just gone in onestop next door and bought cat food would have tasted better ! Absolutely disgusting food”

  “I used to go here years ago every week for my weekly treat of a takeaway and it was gorgeous, but the rubbish I bought last night I couldn't eat it. I bought 2 set meals for one for my partner and myself. All it was in a very small plastic container was warmed up chips, some fried rice, 2 pork balls, very small, and a couple of barbecue covered bones. I was charged £20 for the two meals and being a carer I don't earn that much, I am so very disgusted that they have the nerve to sell such rubbish, they should be shut down or have the health people check them out.”

  “Would not Purchase from here again unfortunately .. Unfriendly and fairly rude counter staff' ( Male ) Overcharged on our food order .. Also Small Portions were Given! But worst thing was one of us found a black Hair In Our Food! :-0 also Seeming pretty unappreciated of our order of almost £80! Plenty more Chinese takeaways in the area that would appreciate regular orders and of those amounts ££ instead of moaning! ;-0”

  “I don’t have Chinese that often but I like a treat every now and then. I found this lovely place 8 months ago, freshly made, not expensive and very polite people! If you haven’t already visited I would highly recommend.”
