  “We had a wonderful family birthday meal here. Despite having fussy eaters, everyone loved the food; the staff were very friendly and helpful, and the music, decor and attention of the lovely owner made us feel like we were in Italy. We will definitely be back!”

  “The food was excellent but also the attitude of the guy serving us was spot on. Although he was still closed for 20 minutes when we arrived at the restaurant, he was understanding and he allowed us in and got us out of the heat. Got us the best table, cold water and allowed us to settle down until the kitchen was open and we could order the food. Speaking of the food, it was cooked very good, seasoned exactly right and serviced as you would expect in a 5 star restaurant. Compliments to the chef and well done to the people running this place. I will go back for sure as it was a very nice experience on a very hot day. Keep up the good work”

  “Burn Appetito is a true Gem. Friendly, attentive staff, varied comprehensive menu. Excellent food! Easily booked a table online! Everything was great! On the hottest May bank Holiday recorded, it was hot inside but the restaurant has the facility of a large bifold window at the front for great air circulation. The waiting staff coped very well with the heat! I strongly recommend that travellers give this lovely eatery a try! We were not disappointed”

  “We had a great afternoon here. Lovely environment, great staff. The food was very tasty, my steak was bang on medium rare, it can be very tricky finding a restaurant that gets the right temperature for steak, but they smashed it. The reason I gave it 4 star rather than 5, was the portions of the potatoes, as you can see in the pictures, they were very small, they tasted amazing so bigger portions would have been great. I would highly recommend a visit there! We will be coming back for sure.”

  “We’ve lived in burgess hill for 2 years and always overlooked Buon Appetito but tonight we decided to go and it really surprised us. The pasta and pizza dishes were delicious. The pizza specials looked very creative as well. The service was efficient if a little abrupt, it could have been warmer friendlier. The atmosphere is good and cosier than it looks from the outside! Give it a go!!”

  “Went to this lovely restaurant in Burgess Hill.. upon arrival I saw “winner of top 50 pizza”. So had to try the pizza.. and let me tell you.. not surprised they won at all!!! The pizza was delicious, service was great, fast and lovely waitresses. The atmosphere feels like being in Italy!! Would give more stars if I could 🎉”

  “From the moment we walked in, the warm and welcoming atmosphere made us feel right at home. The staff were attentive, friendly, and clearly passionate about what they do. The food was simply incredible fresh, authentic Italian flavours in every bite. My pasta was perfectly cooked, rich with flavour, and the dessert was heavenly. It’s rare to find a place that gets both the food and the service spot-on, but Buon Appetito does exactly that. A true gem in Burgess Hill !we can’t wait to come back!”
