About Beerd
Beerd is a pizza restaurant and craft beer bar at 157-159 St Michael's Hill in Bristol, and it was the city's first to pair the two. The pizzas start with hand-stretched dough and a thin base, and the Gunslinger is topped with chicken and pepperoni. Pizza fries come as a side, and the dessert option is a homemade tiramisu. Vegan options appear on the menu, and the drinks list covers a beer selection as well as non-alcoholic choices. A "First Table" deal rewards the first table that buys four drinks with half price on food, which makes the opening round of drinks count toward the bill. Iced water is brought to each table. Dogs are welcome, so a walk up the hill can end with a pizza and a pint.

Customer Review Summary
Pizza is what most reviewers return for, with the thin-based gunslinger, a chicken and pepperoni pizza, singled out as filling, and the hand stretched dough described as cooked consistently on every visit. Close behind are the sides: pizza fries, garlic cheese bread, dips, a cypress salad and homemade tiramisu. Reviewers also mention the beer selection, a mango cider and a couple of good vegan options. Most describe the staff as friendly and welcoming, and several call the food reasonably priced. The recurring caveat is attentiveness when dining in. One family described a blunt reminder that four drinks were required for the first table booking, no replacement for a spilled Coke, no check-ins during the meal and overcooked wings, though they had enjoyed takeaway from the restaurant before. Another diner noted a slow bill and a missed round of drinks because nobody came to check on the table. Several diners appreciate the iced water brought to each table.

“We had a fantastic meal here! 5 stars all round. I thought the 'Best Pizza' was a bit of a boast, but turns out it is true. Wish we had come here before. Will definitely be returning.”

“Recommended this by a friend and has been well worth the wait. Another first table special as well getting half price on food there so a great deal! Had the gunslinger which was a good chicken & pepperoni pizza with a thin base making me so full from finishing. The pizza fries are also a great addition.”

“A couple of good vegan options which to be fair is better than most restaurants. The service was brilliant, super friendly and accommodating. Was nice a quiet but we did go quite early. Will definitely go back.”

“Top notch pizza and beer! Always pay a visit to Beerd when I'm in Bristol. Staff just need to be more aware of customer needs. Took a while to get the bill and they missed out on a round of drinks as no one came to check on us.”

“What a find! Food was mouth-watering, delicious & very reasonably priced. Loved the added touch of iced water for each table as well as a good range of alcohol & non alcoholic drinks available. Despite being a busy Saturday, service was very fast & efficient. Thank you to Josh who served & looked after us. We highly recommend Beerd as a place to visit, extra bonus points for having air con & fabulous decor! Handy tip for onroad parking ,we parked down Tyndalls Park Rd . First half hour is free, it's free after 7pm so we timed it perfectly arriving at 6.30”
