  “Shanghai Garden has been serving the locality with delicious and nutritious food for at least the five years I have been returning to Brislington as a temporary resident. To say that the menu is extensive would underrate it. A selection of cold drinks and deserts means it is an ideal choice for any kind of dining. The crispy aromatic duck is well worth splashing out on. Shredded perfectly every time it's an ideal opportunity for the family to roll their own pancakes. More conventional? Try the sweet and sour chicken balls. Adventurous? The crispy seaweed. From the star-ratings this business seems to be going up in locals' estimation, and has a perfect score for hygiene.”

  “We’ve ordered from Shanghai Garden for over 10 years and have always had good experiences, so this was really disappointing. We placed a delivery order and were given a price on the phone. When the driver arrived the total was nearly £10 more. My husband had repeated the order back clearly during the call and we definitely did not order two chow meins. When we questioned it while the driver was here, the response we got from the shop was simply “YOU ORDERED” followed by “pay or no get.” There was no attempt to check the order or resolve the issue. After being regular customers for so long and usually ordering the same meals, this was very frustrating. Sadly the service seems to have gone downhill. Please double-check your order and the price before accepting delivery.”

  “Me and my mate the other day had some special chow main and orange duck. Very tasty with good portions. The man behind the counter was kind enough to let us in an order even though we arrived after closing time. Definitely recommend and will be going again soon!”

  “Very pricey, but quick delivery. Ordered 10 chicken balls with sauce, the amount of sauce supplied was unacceptable, wasn't enough for three chicken balls let alone 10. Paid over £20 for a portion of chips 10 chicken balls and a young chow rice. Never again.”

  “I don't normally leave reviews but I need to for this little gem... the food was amazing, not coated in fat or not too heavy. It was lovely and shanghai Gardens is now 110% my go to chinese... I could go on but I'm going to leave it short and sweet, we will certainly be ordering off you again next week on take away night... thank you to all of you that prepared our meal and got it to us quickly too.”

  “Recently moved to Brislington and decided to order takeaway from here. Allergen menu was so helpful and easy to interpret, meaning I was able to order a gluten free meal safely without any worries ! I also called the resturaunt before hand just for reassurance and the employee was very understanding and nice. Delivery was fast and the food was steaming hot when it arrived. It was a delicious meal and everyone was very content and happy with the food. I would definitely recommend ordering here.”

  “Fab takeaway. Best one around in my opinion. I did speak to them briefly while ordering my last takeaway..about a few small things I personally wasn’t happy with, they rectified them without any complaint. They always remember my order, they are super friendly, never say no to slight tweaks on their menu and food arrives really quickly and always hot. Try the salt and chilli squids..unbelievably good!”
