Customer Review Summary
The seafood risotto draws the most praise, with diners calling it very generous, packed with mussels, clams, king prawns and langoustines, and one calling it knock-out. Calamari fritti is the starter paired with it in more than one account. The carbonara earns mentions for large pieces of pancetta and plenty of fresh pasta, though one reviewer found the seasoning low and would have preferred guanciale. Pizza, linguine, lasagne, pistachio tartufi and profiteroles also come up, along with a banoffee pie one diner placed above a well-known rival's. Staff are repeatedly described as friendly and warm, checking on tables and chatting in Italian with each other. The sharpest complaint comes from one reviewer who ordered the stuffed sole fillet and received a plate piled with chips, soggy spinach, tasteless fish and a saffron cream sauce with tiny prawns. They left half of it and asked for a refund. The same reviewer disliked the outdoor waiter's exaggerated Italian. Several mention servings large enough to take home.

“The staff were wonderful, nothing too much trouble. The food was great, all tastes catered for, all levels of spice available on request! We are B&H locals. This will definitely become one of our most regular places to eat out - there is so much on the menu we want yet to explore! 😊👍”

“Absolutely faultless, friendly good service, extensive real Italian menu and great atmosphere. The staff want you to enjoy your experience and it shows, very warm and caring. Now the food....A.M.A.Z.I.N.G...! Be warned they are large servings, but excellent quality, not just quantity. Recommended 😉 I think we have found a gem for a special meal out! Recommend the Linguine, pizzas, chicken, lasagne and the profiteroles...special mention of the Bannoffee Pie, even better than that of the 'Hungry Monk' in our opinion!”

“Having been here before and enjoyed pizza we thought we would try something else on the menu. Very big mistake for us!!!!!!! I took my grandson who is over from Australia. We both had the stuffed sole fillet. we were given the option of gratain potato or chips. having really just wanting a salad but being told it came with salad we just said chips. When the two plates arrived I was really shocked to get a plate which 50% was stacked high with french fries enough for three adults. in the centre was some salad leaves and fish/sole wrapped around a lump of soggy mush spinach which then was coated including the salade with a cream saffron sauce which was suposed to have prawns. infact they looked like tiny dried shrimps, if they were not dried they were so small you could almost not see them. The food was completely tasteless, the spinach was a great lump of mess really. I really can not believe that they even serve such rubbish. Its a shame as they are good with pizza. they place is a good spot too. We will never go again as we feel totally ripped off. I left 50% it was just awful. I normally would not stand for this and say something, but not wishing to have a issue with my grandson I just walked away. I just write this to warn others, my only othet complaint is the outdoor waiter who constantly walks around talking highly exagerated Italian quite unnecessary. For the Management we had a bill of £93.45 of which £48 was for this awful mess . Tuesday 26th May @ 17.21 I would like this refunded. I have left the same review on a well known site.”

“Just had a fabulous meal in this gem of a restaurant! The service was phenomenal from the very warm welcome the minute we walked through the door to the very sincere "Ciao, ciao" as we left. The food was absolutely fantastic too - we shared calamari fritti and arancini to start with a quattro stagioni pizza and the allo scoglio risotto for mains. There was so much seafood (mussels, clams, king prawns and langoustines) in the risotto - delicious! To finish I also had the pistachio tartufi which was the perfect end to the meal, together with a double espresso for me and an Americano for my partner. Not only is the food fabulous but it's also excellent value for money. Highly recommended!”

“I am not sure how much of a hidden gem this restaurant is, but it is gem for sure!!! After dreadful experience from lunch in different place, dinner in Bella Napoli was heaven in the mouth. The food was unbelievable, we felt like we were back on holidays in Italy. I cannot recommend to visit this place enough. The prices compare to London are unbelievable as well.”
