About Jewel Of The Severn
Jewel Of The Severn sits on the High Street in Bridgnorth, set in a compact pub room on one of the town's main streets. It runs as a walk-in venue with no booking taken, and seating is at the bar for drinks and meals throughout the day. The format follows the chain's familiar model, covering the standard range of pub food and drinks from the counter. Free coffee refills are available on the premises. The space is small and tends to fill quickly during peak periods.

“A small wetgerspoons in the heart of bridgenorth. Shame there is no significant outdoor seating here. But the food is nice and great value and the staff are.friendly. more intimate than most but still a good use of space. And not rowdy. Nice and chill”

“Food and drink good for the price. Wasn't able to pay on the app though”

“The food here is appalling! What was supposed to be different strips of chicken breast ended up being some in bread crumbs and the other in batter. (the description was the bizarrely named 'boneless basket'). More accurately, this should be tasteless food more suited to toddlers. This was more akin to chicken nuggets that wouldn't satisfy the hunger of a gnat. It came with the 2 dips, unrecognisable by taste, and only identified by the menu; one was a sugary BBQ sauce, the other a vinegary concoction better suited for use in stripping varnish. The accompanying 'side salad' consisted of two unripe tomato slices, some dry cucumber, onion rings and lettuce leaves that must have been in existence last time England won the world cup. Then I thought, at least I can have a cup of cappuccino, disappointingly only to find this was from a machine. What transpired, was an insipid, opaque and watery beverage that bore absolutely no comparison to coffee whatsoever; it was more akin to a frothy version of Horlicks but without the taste. Then, I thought, I can take advantage of the free coffee re-fills, this time plumping for a flat white, only to discover, this too was as disgusting as the first drink. So, in all over £8 for half a dozen pieces of chicken strips measuring no more than the average index finger. Shortly after leaving, two of us complained of stomach upset. I rest my case.”
