  “Ordered sweet chilli crispy chicken in sweet chilli sauce with chips and spring rolls The sauce was not sweet chilli at all and was very spicy way too many onions only around 6 chicken bites and a few scraps”

  “The best Chinese takeaway in the area. I would like more vegetables in the meals that I order, but overall, very nice. Delivery can take ages - most recently, I had to wait one hour 30 minutes and the food was cold.”

  “Had the special fried rice and noodles amongst a couple of other dishes and they were awful... absolutely swimming in oil, everything we had was tastelss, lacked flavour and seasoning, definitely won't be returning.”

  “Salt and pepper ribs in crispy coating .wasn't just crispy was down right cooked to death .didn't know which was meat or bone .special curry no flavour and meat was too conformed .was first time here because mine was shut .china garden .won't be ordering again”

  “Prices are reasonable compared to others in the area, however food wasn’t great, very little meat or fish in the dishes with lots and lots of onion/peppers suffocating both dishes, soft fried noodles were rubbery and dry and chips seemed reheated. Wouldn’t return.”

  “Over cooked veg, tasteless. Chips possibly cooked in cold fat or reheated, soaked in grease. Maybe changed hands as used to be lovely. Absolutely rubbish, a waste of money!!”

  “Golden gates in my opinion is the best Chinese going , been open since I was a young kid . Love the food and been a regular customer for years always remember you and are very very polite .”

  “I don’t know what happened to this place but it is now terrible I ordered salt and pepper chicken wings and got salt and pepper chicken pieces that were clearly warmed up and not salt and pepper at all! I also ordered salt and pepper chips which were not salt and pepper chips just chips caked in a tonne of salt too much that I couldn’t bear to eat them the only nice thing was the rice.. disappointed isn’t the word!”
