  “My partner and I had a wonderful time here last night! We were celebrating our anniversary so wanted someplace special. Our server was absolutely wonderful and deserves the highest praise - we asked her to put together a board for us of 4 cheeses and 2 meats as we couldn’t choose, and she did a tremendous job. Everything was so delicious and of course the wine was amazing. We tried 2 of the red wine tasting flights which were lovely, then got a large glass each of whichever was our favourite, we’d really recommend doing this! All in all a perfect evening and we will be coming back.”

  “I found this waiter unhelpful at Westbourne. The guy asked me if I was serious when I asked for his opinion about a couple of cheeses I hadn’t heard of. He then put a service charge on at the end which I read was optional after I left. I wasn’t given that option at the time. I’ve been to 3 other Renoufs locally and the staff have been very helpful and only to happy to help us choose good combinations of wines, cheese & meats.”

  “Had the most amazing experience at Renuce in Westbourne for my 40th birthday, proper 5 star place. From the second we walked in the staff were genuinely welcoming, friendly, and made us feel relaxed straight away. I went for the non alcoholic wine and it was honestly really nice, not an afterthought at all, it felt like they actually cared about making it a good option. The best part was the cheese and meats. I told them what I like and asked them to surprise me, and they absolutely nailed it. The selection was spot on, and they took the time to explain the cheeses properly (in a way that made it fun, not pretentious). You can tell they know their stuff, but they also make it feel easy and enjoyable. We visited about five weeks ago and only just remembered to leave this review (my girlfriend reminded me), but it was too good not to come back and say how impressed I was. I live about 50 miles away and it was 100 percent worth travelling into Bournemouth for the day, it felt like a real treat and somewhere different. If you want a place with great atmosphere, brilliant food, and staff that actually care, I can’t recommend Renuce enough. Go for the adventure, go for the vibe, and go to enjoy yourself. 10 out of 10.”

  “The food was really good, but the service wasn't. Nobody explained us the cheeses, and we didn't get asked for more drinks. So we refused the automatically added gratuity. You guys could have made so much more money with us, we were desperate for more bread, wine, porter and water during the meal but were left abandoned. We'll do cheese board at home next time. At least we won't run out of drinks then.”

  “We’re returning customers every time we stay in Bournemouth, we love the selection of cheeses and meats, we opted for a bottle of wine rather than a flight this time but we’re equally pleased. Menu is all cheese or sliced meat so if that’s not your thing then it’s a skip! We booked in advance for a low table, which was really and waiting for us. We were well served with water and the party sharing board was epic, we always add the pork pie as a treat 😊🧀🍷😋”

  “Our first visit even though we are very local. What a lovely experience. We had lunch with the family, shared platter of 12 cheeses and 12 charcuterie along with olives, baked casement, pork pie, pickles, hot chorizo, breads and crackers. Excellent wines and gins. Superb. Fully recommend and we will be back.”

  “Absolutely fabulous place. I have a local wine bar I love in London and this is so much better. The idea of wine flights is fantastic, a good range with continuity across them. The cheese and meat boards are so customisable and great value for money. All the staff were very friendly, professional and knowledgeable. I would put this at the top of my list for places to visit in Bournemouth!”

  “Review of the Southbourne branch. We were there on opening night, and had a super time. The atmosphere, the drinks, the food and the service was all superb. Opening night jitters as expected, but that did not affect the evening too much. I can see this as a regular easy night out place for us, especially in cold weather.”
