  “Lovely little place. I had a beautiful vegetarian breakfast, best I've eaten in a while. Service is rm friendly and quick- think greasy spoon and you won't be disappointed- they prefer cash!”

  “A fantastic local gem! I visited for their fry-up and it was absolutely superb, exactly what you want from a traditional breakfast. The cafe has a lovely, old-school atmosphere that makes you feel right at home, and the service is very friendly. Great value for money too. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a proper, hearty meal”

  “Me and my partner regularly come to English Rose for lunch and we’re pleased every single time! The staff are all so friendly and lovely and you really don’t get better value for money food anywhere else in Bournemouth! It doesn’t matter what you order, you’re guaranteed to feel satisfied when you leave! I highly recommend the roasts and English breakfasts, but the omelettes are brilliant too! 🍰🥘🍳”

  “I was visiting the beach as the weather was amazing and I looked for somewhere to have breakfast. There were various cafes within walking distance but The English Rose had some great reviews, so I had a nice (but long) walk from the beach area. Lovely little old style cafe and great service from the young lady working there. I had the Mega breakfast which was lovely AND it included a cup of tea AND toast (most places charge extra for these!!). It was such great value that I also ordered a bacon sandwich and a cold drink to takeaway for lunch on the beach later that day! Will visit again when I'm next down your way!”

  “This cafe could literally be the best place I’ve been to in terms of price/performance ratio. The stability of the quality of its breakfast is really mind-blowing. And I would prefer the down-to-earth, sincere atmosphere to any type of pretentiousness.”

  “I was given a recommendation to this place by a friend. I can say that it exceeded his praises. Although I arrived at a busy time of day the lovely lady serving greeted me with a smile and took my order . The roast beef arrived in short order and I can honestly say it was the best tssting roasts I have had in Bournemouth. The portions were fair for the price and will return and I will bring others.”

  “I went here with two others, and the staff that greeted us were lovely! The food came out surprisingly quick, and it was exactly what we wanted - hot, filling, cheap food. I paid a mere £5.95 for what's pictured - great stuff.”
