Quick info
About Cappuccino's
Cappuccino's is a family-run cafe in Bournemouth on Christchurch Rd, with an attached soft play area for toddlers. The play space has a slide, a semi-transparent pipe and mirrors, which gives families with young children a place to settle in together. Orders are placed at the counter, and the food is brought to the table. The menu centres on a classic English Breakfast, and a roast appears alongside the specials. Decaf cappuccino and decaf coffee are also available for those avoiding caffeine. The cafe opens Monday to Saturday and closes on Sundays.

Customer Review Summary
Reviewers return most for the friendly, family-run welcome, with regulars describing years of visits and a team that keeps customers happy. The food comes next, led by a classic English breakfast one reviewer calls banging, plus a good value roast and brunch dishes served hot. A decaf cappuccino and good coffee get mentions too. Parents point to the small soft play area, with a slide, a semi transparent pipe and mirrors for a 2 year old, though one notes it is not obvious from the outside. One parent describes an owner who was understanding of autism and SEN needs, and another says staff went above and beyond over a condiments request. The one serious complaint comes from a blind reviewer, who describes the boss shouting at him and a friend to return to their seats while someone used the toilet during a meeting, then shouting again when it was free. He says they will not return. Even he calls the food great and the staff helpful.

“Food was amazing and the staff were really helpful but unfortunetely their boss was absolutely VILE! Me and my friend went to to toilets and we are both blind, but after we walked through the long coradoor she got AGGRESIVE saying THERES A MEETING GO BACK TO YOUR SEAT AS SOMEONES USING THE TOILET. She was fully aware we were blind and when we walked back about 10 seconds later she shouted saying TOILETS ARE FREE NOW. Absolutely disgusting way of talking to disabled people. So instead of us waiting outside the toilet she told 2 blind men to go back to our seats just because there was a meeting near the toilet. We will NEVER come back.”

“Fantastic and welcoming owner who was incredibly understanding of autism and SEN. I explained my daughter’s additional needs and the service was exceptional. Such a lovely atmosphere and we will definitely be returning. I came here with my almost 2-year-old and 4-year-old, and there was something for all ages. Great selection of food clean atmosphere and great to get round with a pushchair too”
