Customer Review Summary
Curries draw the most praise, with diners singling out the chicken tikka achari and the garlic chicken korma as better than some Indian restaurants they have tried. Pizzas come close behind, including a calzone and a South Indian Garlic Chilli topping, while hoggies, a kebab with chips and a fresh salad also get mentions. Staff are described repeatedly as friendly and polite, on the phone and in the shop, and one reviewer calls the premises clean and tidy. The complaints are specific. One longtime customer received a delivery that was incomplete and partly wrong, then waited for the missing items while chips, nan and rice went cold, and was told by a staff member that the shop was busy. That reviewer and another both found the food heavy with sauce, one noting it soaked through the pizza box. The second reviewer reports chicken cut on a board with a dirty cloth and microwaved until rubbery. Others describe food freshly cooked to order and served hot.

“I was pleasantly surprised by this place! Don't let the appearance of the shop fool you—it doesn't do justice to the food or the overall experience. The food was freshly cooked to order, served hot, and absolutely delicious. Everything tasted fresh and full of flavour. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel valued from the moment we arrived. The quality-to-price ratio is excellent, and I would definitely order from here again. Highly recommended if you're looking for tasty, freshly made Indian takeaway!”

“I had a really disappointing experience with this takeaway. When I went in, there was no menu available to browse, and I was simply told to check online if I wanted to see what they offered—which isn’t exactly helpful when you’re standing there ready to order. I decided to go ahead anyway and ordered a chicken tikka kebab. Unfortunately, things only got worse from there. The chicken appeared to be cut on a chopping board that was covered with a dirty cloth, which was immediately off-putting and raised serious hygiene concerns. The food itself was just as bad. I physically saw the chicken being put into a microwave, and it came out with a rubbery texture that made it almost inedible. On top of that, everything was absolutely swimming in sauce—so much so that it soaked straight through the pizza box. Overall, a very poor experience. Between the lack of basic service, questionable cleanliness, and low-quality food, I wouldn’t recommend this place.”
